How many bosses....without gold? part II

I decided to quit the event after #13 bosses. I was just getting crappy units...It sucks!!

LOL I beat Boss 6 and that was as far as I made it. Never could beat boss 7, but made it to 18 last time without having to use gold. Much hard this time for me in teh higher level. I was doing 82k+ damage for teh max # hits to make it that far. Will have to upgrade all my boosts and units to be more ready next time.

And increasing attack isn't directly linked either, many high attack stat players couldn't get far.

Here are my stats and final boss event progress. He was much more difficult to kill of this go around, but it's hard to tell because I ran out of time at the end due to work and travel so had to use the mega bomb in several occasions - must admit that was kind of fun.

*Note: Boss 27 - 30 hits appear to flatten out, but I was in a hurry to finish and didn't take as accurate of notes towards the end. So error margin is +/- 1 or 2 in the cash and mega hit categories for those 4 bosses; however, the it did take exactly 800 gold to kill off bosses 27 - 30. For modeling purposes you may want to follow the trajectory and rebalance those levels.

Its weird that both my 30th boss took 33 hits. your's took about 30 cash hits? And why in the heck did your bosses 27, 28, 29, and 30 all require the same exact number of hits!? My 27th boss was 25 hits, while 30 was 33 hits! Also, your attack really didn't increase very much compared to mine. At the first boss I was doing 42k per hit, and by the 30th boss I was doing 51k per hit.

Nothing makes sense anymore.

btw- i'm very jealous of your loot. mine sucks. I feel like i'm the only person in the whole world who didnt get the cool looking aqua bomber!!!! i wanted it so bad.

Last week I was able to get 37 done w\o any gold this week I could only get to 23 free. It ended up costing like 200 gold to finish it off.

Something to note also that I have not seen anyone else mention is that the reward this week is 22% better (total numeric value) then last weeks. So I really would not have a problem with the event being harder but it did seem to go nuts. It would've nice if they found a happy medium.

Oh well just have to wait and see, cheers!!!!! :)

Kind of cool, looks like a stop motion short film for the longer kills. 27 - 30 may be off by +/1 per cash vs mega hit, but in those last 4 bosses, that was my actual total gold cost (800). I got a little carried away with the mega hits in my race for time so I didn't snap every frame. I had plenty left at the end (several hours) but you guys know how these events get wonky towards the end sometimes...

I have been having a bit of a play with the numbers.

Thanks to Hello Kitty, Manbeast, TC, P.O.W.and Jojobinks I had enough to start getting some rough comparisons together.
It isn't complete datasets so the results aren't 100% accurate but the trends are obvious.

This event favours lower level players over higher level ones to a radical degree.

Manbeast (level 87) and Hello Kitty (level 72) actually faced similar "opposition" when basing the relative strength of the Elite against their personal base strength at the start of the event. Hello Kitty's graph does flatten towards the end but there are enough similarities to support this statement.

P.O.W. and Jojobinks also display a similar pattern though the relative strength is higher which tends to indicate they are probably both above level 87, I will take an absolute stab in the dark and call both to be around levels 92-97.

TC at (level 126) came up against much stronger relative oppositon.

Myself (Level 139) stopped at 16, again with the level increase there was a significant increase in the elite strength when compared against my base figure at the start of the event..

Will see if I can utilise the data from some other players as well. Copenhagen's will be good I just need his raw attack figure for the start of the competition. Thought we had allied at some stage but cannot find him in my list.

All those I have the data for reached level 16.
At this point the relative strength scores were.
Hello Kitty 10 (Level 75) Number 30 was a score of 28.
Manbeast 11 (Level 87) Number 30 was a score of 37.
Jojobinks 13 Level ????
P.O.W. 14 Level ????
TC 23 (Level 126) Number 30 was a score of 67.
Q 30 (Level 139) Extrapolated number 30 score indicated to be just under 80.

Good to see all my tears being put to good use!Just a point, but my level on starting was 124... This might just make a difference to you data crunching, and mint put me in a different group to say someone who started the event at 126... Who knows?

Publicly, I just want to thank you for your enormous effort for the Boss events. For good or bad you helped me move forward, and once I get my ship I know I'll be loving you big time! And I have no doubt your work will help others in future Boss events, either to stop them going too far or by helping them with a route map to 30.

Thanks TC, I just wish I had more data on hand a bit earlier......

My objective will be to try to get people to rationalise their spending on this event. If going the Gold route to set a budget, do a bit of planning and then see how far you are likely to get.

I actually think they will HAVE to rethink the numbers for the next event. Yours just went silly and when I finally came up with a way to compare different level players on the same base footing mine were even worse. I noticed even Wdigeorge with his massive stats mentioned he didn't get even as far as me before he was looking at the Gold option.

Q- i think you should make a thread with all the info compiled into one place. also- i was lvl 97 at the event start not 87

and you hit the nail on the head about HK's bosses flattening out at the end!! mine got harder and harder for each boss. her's didnt. thats why i said nothing makes sense anymore haha. you would think all the bosses, regardless of level/allies/attack scores would follow the same curve!
