Well, now that this new event is fixed, it is certainly a lot more fair and playable, so far. We'll see how bad it gets up around level 20. I'm looking for the magic number 24 again, I have enough gold to take me from there. I've recently unlocked B-52s so I have one avenue of getting stronger that I didn't have before. Have about the same amount of valor as the last time the event started so I'll probably end up farming it which means I'll be leveling for at least one energy refill.

I just wish I had known this was a bug before I dropped some cash on an upgrade and a building, I would have held onto the cash till they fixed it but thems the breaks.

It's not all the way fixed. When you close out of the app when you have a boos, you come back and he is gone.

When I beat a boss, and then get a new one I'm pretty weak so I retreat till I can have at least 2 or three hits. Beat two bosses and both times I've got another boss in line and start the process over my health is too low to fight. Not sure I'm explaining properly...but it's annoying. :-/

yes. i think all the beta testers did (but i think their event had different parameters than ours). sequins also did. i'm not sure if anyone else did. it took me 160 gold. most people spent a lot more.

Lord Shamba 30LVL took me one medkit. I am free player, but I had some gold from bonuses and tapjoy. So generally v.limited amount of gold.

This one is a bit harder than last time, but about the same for me personally. I beat boss four in four cash hits. I'm level 134 with 474 allies and an attack of 46,805. I'll probably only be able to beat through level 8 or 9 without using gold... Just like last time.

No CJ emailed me quickly on this one... they screwed up, the system picked up the level of the boss you were up to from the last event... it then set the stats for our level one bosses to say level 11, or 30 etc despite showing level one boss) they have been fixing it as they go.. mine started to finally work after I struggled to get the first two down... now they are breezy again and stopped at 11 down for the night.

Hell, I'd love for this to happen to me. It'd give me more chances at loot items, hopefully rare ones. No way in hell I'd even be able to get ⅔ of the way through this, let alone finishing the dang thing....

Yes, all the bugs are fixed, time to move on. If you submit a ticket and let them know how much you lost before you realized it was a bug, they may give you your cash back. Worked for me. :)

That's pretty good going, getting to 40 without gold. What level are you and what attack? I only managed 12 last time and I'll probably sit this one out till I have higher stats.
