20 + Shards?

This early in the event how exactly do you think people have 20 + shards? Gold opens and resets obviously but energy resets? Low level farming to get that many chests or high level boss farming to get a more guaranteed box drop rate?

Let them do what they like. No sense is going all crazy. There will be those that just drive up the price. I'm gonna set some small goal and see if 20 will be the magic number for me with cash opens by the end of the event.

I've already had a box from PvP... I got my only shard so far from it.

I think these events are going to make a lot of free players give up on the game. Without free players will the spenders get bored sooner rather than later? I think they will, unless they are so addicted that they become blind to the fact that no free players = wallet fight.

I can only surmise that they changed the secondary top prize for the top 250 instead of 500 as in the previous event to try and entice players to compete with each other by spending more money on gold. After seeing where #500 ended up last event, I'm not even going to bother trying on this one. In fact, I think this may finally be the thing to cause me to quit this damn game, which has become nothing but a money grab by Funzio/Gree. So much for all the new content like monsters or listening to player feedback and suggestions such as new buildings and new weapons buyable with in-game cash, which would actually make developing an economy have a practical purpose.

I'm not even thrilled with the prize for 20 pcs collected. I guess these events are no longer helpful for adding really worthwhile items to a high level players inventory. Not worth me opening 14 or so boxes a day to see such a minimal gain. Oh well....it's spend money on crates or get nowhere with my attack number at this point. :-(

Poor Swingle (Swiggle). At least you have an awesome avatar!!!!!!!!! Seriously, though, wouldn't it make more sense to invest gold in items you know will definitely up your stats? Rather than chancing it and wasting gold in hopes you'll make it in the top 25?

Yes its called buy gold hack open to all, but CK members get monthly promos to win iTunes cash from their mob leaders. We have $200 open for our members in July.
