My guess is same format, Im fairly certain they made alot off of that one.

I got top 50 last time. It costs an insane amount ! I know I'm done spending on events with last format. I bet a lot of others feel the same way. So they may change format if they start to make less. That's my hope anyway.

If it'll be top 500 i'll drive for that. Wont touch top 50 again for sure. If it's gonna be top 250 this time I won't even bother with gold for that as well.

There will be at least one more if not 2 like the last event. It will have to show a decrease in revenue before they change the format, IMO.

They have no reason to stop doing it that way. It is a great way to entice people to buy gold hoping to get in higher spots on the leaderboard

I won't even bother for top 50, I got the money if I wanted to but it's a mobile game at the end of the day

BTW, that idea was offered right here in the forum.
They don't even have to come up with that. People here are thinking about great ways to improve the game and Funzio just comes in and turns it into cash cow. :)

The NOT beauty of this format is that it doesn't really matter if you got the money or not. It's ain't worth it unless you have 100k+ stats.

I'm pretty sure the new format is here to stay. It's almost exactly the same as the complete gacha format, which GREE(d) said they would abandon by May 31st once the gacha events became illegal in Japan.

The reason I say the new format is almost the same as the old format is because it obviously IS almost identical, but players no longer rely on a random number generator when they're chasing the magic dragon/grand prize using gold bars. Now players compete to see who is willing to spend more. So it's still the same, but different enough that a whole new investigation and legal process would have to be carried out to make this style illegal as well.

Well, as a non gold player, I'll never get to the tops and win those stat saver items without being on 24/7. And yes, I do have a life.

Wohoo....keep the events a rolling Funzio. Good belly chuckle to watch the mayhem ensue.

Pfff.

You're going to go from spending your way into the top 50 to not spending at all?

Bull****!

I saw this thread title and just groaned. SO happy an event hasn't started. Trying to position myself to cross the lvl 100 threshhold on my terms, not because I'm tearing ass around trying to find boxes or safes.
