Normally I have amazing luck with less than 60% common, more than 15% rare and uncommon just under or over par... NO not this time... 11% rare, 26% uncommon and 63% common... mostly the boats... ok since I'm UK but ground units are better given (at some stage) I will have my +30% ground attack.

But they increased rare drop rate again too for triples... that last lot sucked as all you got was 5 gold off for buying 3 singles... this one you get 5 gold off and 10% higher drop rate! Much better stats too... I seem to find commons always are about 80% of the gold value (A+D)/G, and Uncommon about 220% and Rare about 400% (for two) with the third rare/rare about 600-700%.

Low level LE's are about 100-120% (better than common just), lower mid LE's (uncommon equiv) about 90-100%, upper mid (rare equiv) LE's about 60-70% and the big LE about 40-60% (often similar to the rare or rares in crates)

So crates for a growing army are great value but now I am at the point of building Aircraft carriers and soon to unlock the Elite Water Carrier... the commons are going to be a waste other than if I get smashed by a pirate before I can drop allies enough to prevent cas. So I am now doing the whole LE sets and getting one of the bonus units (1 uncommon and one common in last two sets... missed the first set) in addition to a dozen or so triple crates on each set hoping to get that rare of Rares each time or at least 50% of the crates as uncommon and rares...

Loving the tiger tank. Want a couple of 3 packs, in fact I WILL have a couple of 3 packs to try and get a Tiger. But something in my water says gold sale in the next day or so don't you think? It's a fine line to balance so as not to miss out on these crates.

BTW forgot to mention what a horrible thread to read that was for the first 4 or 5 pages! I just searched for 'tiger tank' and this was the tread that came up.

Bought 240 gold while it was on sale, first gold purchase. Also got over 150 gold from Tapjoy downloads! was really planning on getting 4 gold units for 400 gold which was my total gold after downloading tapjoy for a whole day and my purchase.

I always intended to buy the 240 gold pack because i felt that was like a legit purchase price for the game. It also helped as gold was on sale for like 15 bucks for 240. I was determined to get some gold units, even though I really want the composites factory. i decided on the raptor, rogue agent, wolv tank, and spec ops cruiser. the total would have been 400 gold.

Anyway, just as I was about to start buying my 4 units i saw the 3 crate option. I checked out the units, and after some deep contemplation, got a 3 pack of crates for 170 gold. Got 2 common (field commander and drone) and the uncommon sv22. was happy with the sv22, and overall it made the purchase worth it; they are 3 indestructible units after all and the sv22 has 50 ATK.

i went back to browsing the gold specials list but quickly bought another 3 crate pack like dropping another quarter into a slot machine. Got 2 rare tiger tanks and an uncommon desert merc! still have gold left! going to try to hold onto it for as long as i can. Those two tiger tanks are by far my most powerful units.

im at 6 tyrant loot event drops, with 3 days left. will be insane to get one more for the 7 item plane with 70 ATK, and if i get 8 i will probably dump the rest of my gold chasing that freakin sweet 380 ATK pilot. That thing is freakin sweet.
