There was a thread on this subject posted ages ago, but I don't want to look for it or necro it.

How many money buildings do you have at level 10? I have 4. I brought my two Laundromats to level 10 a long time ago, but now they sit in my hood permanently robbed. I don't collect them anymore and they are hidden from view anyways.

I just recently added the other two. I was annoyed with saving for a big upgrade, going broke, doing a little upgrade or three while saving, and then repeating the cycle. This was the same reason I took my LMs to level 10.

I have a level 10 house on the camper account because lofts are starting to get expensive at level 7. On my main account I don't have any. Sold my pissant buildings ages ago and one level Palm Hotel upgrade makes me more than all those little 10 building upgrades combined. If I want time fillers between expensive upgrades, I just upgrade rockt launchers, or whatever they are called.

Currently, I have only one building at 10... a bodyguard agency. It's at 10 b/c the time to upgrade it to that level was only 36 hours as opposed to other buildings, which usually take 3 days or more.

I haven't upgraded anything else all the way to 10 b/c of the upgrade times. Sure an upgrade at that level might be worth a $1K bump to your income per hour, but if it takes three days to complete it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend the money on that when you could have three upgrades completed in that length of time worth twice the income.

I have four buildings at 9, but the bulk of my hood sits between 4 and 6. When the upgrade time gets beyond 24 hours I've only made them when the break-even point (what most of you call ROI) is very low and I'm saving for a more impactful upgrade or purchase somewhere else.

Spending a large chunk of your stack on a long upgrade doesn't really help you save unless you start to receive a return on it pretty quickly.

Thanks, the upgrades were long and costly but i'm glad its complete and now i can collect $264,000 every 24 hours and not have to worry about that building ever again. Just need to get the other one finished now:

im upgrading my one NC to lvl 10 before I even start the next one. i check my math after each upgrade and will continue to, but Im pretty sure it wont change. Maybe build one, but unlikelyYou will build the second, because it's a build and not an upgrade. When you have to save for a high NC upgrade, it's likely that you can save 40 million in less than 2 days.

If you can find someone who can take your game you can start all over. I know someone offered it before who had an old iphone/android laying around. I'm sure someone here can help you or ask a friend. That's what i did, installed cc, transfered and deleted the game. Gave me a brand new start.

I wouldn't waste your time getting all buildings to level 10 unless its a personal goal. Just pick a few that actually make a difference.
I've just sold one level 10 basketball court to make room for more muay thai centers. The other will be gone sometime later today.

It was not long ago I couldn't fathom selling buildings. 34 buildings sold later its somewhat cathartic.

The upside is 50 machine gun turrets, gatlings, sniper's dens and soon muay thais without much of a decrease to income/hr.

Loft 9 and 10 take around 5 days each, even with modifiers, so great to upgrade them when saving for something big.....

set your account up to transfer it and after you start transfer, stop and delete the app, then reload app and start new game, it worked for me once few months ago.

~$321 million per GC for levels 2, 3, 4 and 5. So in total, two level 5 GCs cost me about $642 million. That's without the cheaper upgrade modifier.

My analysis shows that LV10 buildings are very rarely worthwhile for my collection frequency. I only have BBall court at LV10 but it was because I was saving for a hood expansion. Houses would be next (#s say Ice Cream) and then T-Shirt Stands, but it may be Movie Theaters if I don't get caught in a savings-hold again.

I currently have a three tier upgrade list: money-limited, time-limited, short-upgrade, which I alternate between based upon my RL schedule and cash on hand.

Maybe I should start another thread, because I was overly simplifying the situation. With few exceptions, you have "Chain Build" bonuses by continuous upgrades to LV4 or 5 (Same cost of upgrades, but pays off faster at higher output) and then again to LV9 but there's a drop off after LV9, so that you should wait for a LV9 building to reach its ROI before taking it to LV10. However, I still haven't firmed up my theory on the impact of "free money" (robberies, goals, contests, and scratchers) on the ROI theory. I also have lacked the patience to implement the chain-build strategy for more than a few successive upgrades.

As i've been on a couple of holidays over the last 3 weeks i left my iPad (Avon's Hood) with my sister to collect & upgrade and just did long upgrades on my Billionaire account. The outcome is both of Avon's MT's and both of The Billionaires dominicians are now at level 10. Mission complete and onto the next one.

The Billionaire has one more T-Shirt stand and one more Italian restaurant to get up to level 10 so i'm working on them whilst saving the $111m for my next NC upgrade.

Avon currently has 2 lofts at level 7 which i'm going to start focusing on.

As i've been on a couple of holidays over the last 3 weeks i left my iPad (Avon's Hood) with my sister to collect & upgrade and just did long upgrades on my Billionaire account. The outcome is both of Avon's MT's and both of The Billionaires dominicians are now at level 10. Mission complete and onto the next one.

The Billionaire has one more T-Shirt stand and one more Italian restaurant to get up to level 10 so i'm working on them whilst saving the $111m for my next NC upgrade.

Avon currently has 2 lofts at level 7 which i'm going to start focusing on.

Nice one mate. Crime City HD looks so good on that sharp HD iPad! I personally want to get my MT's, Lofts, Italians and T-Shirt stands to 10. I wish I hadn't of sold my Lv.10 B-Courts now....

@Babytway Well done on the Dominican, the last couple of upgrades really do take forever. Unfortunately the Brownstone upgrades take even longer so i hope you've got a lot of patience lol

well my dominican was done very long time ago and my second i left at lvl 5. went to do some def buildings and some low tier buildings to lvl 10, was goin to do gunshops to lvl 10 first but decided to do one brownstone for now. bcuz i haven't seen a lvl 10 yet and if i did see its been a long time.

Now upgrading: second GC to 4. Next upgrade: Haunted Mansion to 6 while saving for the second NC to 5.

I've added 2 gun shops and 1 house to lv 10. Working on getting haunted houses to 10 as they pay better then lv 10 MT's, that should help with lofts and NC

Yesterday I finished building (and then sold) a French Restaurant to complete that goal and I got ~$15 million for instant completion of other goals that probably don't appear until after the one for the FR. Now I have "expand 31 times".... And correct me if I'm wrong here, but that's an impossible goal and 30 expansions is the max.

I guess I need to finish machine gun malfunction to get to the sports bar goal. I'll get right on that... The same day we see new content aimed at fun and not aimed with a laser sight at money.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, the goal for the sports bar upgrade was called "Bottoms Up"

Currently working on big upgrades ($20m+) until i'm ready to start saving £189m for my next NC upgrade. I've got one more Italian restaurant at level 9 to get to level 10 and then i'm not sure which pair of buildings to focus on next. Any suggestions anyone?
