I think I'll be able to make it by 11-ish. It depends on if I get lost or not. I tend to get lost while driving, I'm pretty bad about that.

I'll only be able to stay until around 4, since I have to catch a 6:25 flight back.

It's a half hour drive north on I-5, should be pretty easy.

About 12 years ago I met a woman from England in a yahoo movie chat room talking about the movie Gladiator. We will have been married for ten years come November. It always amazes me how small the world has become. I hope you all have a great time and make some awesome friendships. Looking forward to the stories.

Good luck finding a points seat this late (and I mean that). They are hard enough to find weeks or months in advance. I've used over a million, all international, never had luck otherwise. Fun to fly for free.

If taking I-5, be careful at the exit for 78, it gets backed up pretty bad, usually only rush hour but sometimes weekends too. Better to get off at Las Flores and take Jefferson anyway, nice view of the lagoon.

If I had time i would blow it up poster size attach a stick and put you in all the photos so you'd be there! That's what I did when my son was deployed and his sister got married and another time when my other son was stationed on the East coast and couldn't make his brothers wedding. We spent many hours teaching them. We had to get up close and personal with them... Just part of the job and nothing better than getting baby oil all over the weapons and us when we did the instructions. LOL.
