Condos or French Restaurant?

What are your opinions on these 2 buildings.
I was thinking of getting both - the collection time of 6 hours doesnt really bother me - but maybe I will get the condos first

yes i got the condos as soon as they unlocked. all 12 hour buildings are good imo

Hey Sasha,

Condos take something like 90 hours to build. Frenchie's take about 48 hours. Keep that in mind!

If I had to pick, I'd go w/ the french restaurant, get it to build quicker, get that extra income, and then work on the condo afterwards?

Thanks - I think I may do both but start with 1 restaurant because of the build time and the price and then do condos.
Also, just realized I don't have enough space for the condo without a major shuffle but I have an expansion that will be finished tomorrow -

I didn't build French restaurants until after I built the NCs and committed to collecting those 6 hour buildings more. They're popular robbery targets because of the solid RP payout, so keep that in mind.

French restaurant is a very valuable 6 hour building,I don't have time to throw pages of building Econ analysis here,just let you know that it is a very good one.

Absolutely go for french restaurant first, it is the last 48-18-27(time cost) type building while condo is the first 96-31-41 type building.

Therefore, They actually belong to different building groups.
The last one in any building group is always a good investment because its time cost stays same while boosting income the most. On the contrary, the first one in any group is questionable at lower levels since we wont build every building and might just skip it.
Condo is an end game building, we will have it whatsoever. but better after the previous group's leader french restaurant.
I will get them all after my first NC finished its level 2 save in 5 days.

Because the income on the NC was high enough for me to get over the fact that I don't like 6hr collection times, especially at level 2. Also, it was a long time goal of mine since before I knew I didn't like 6hr bldgs, lol. Finally, I personally think it's one of the more attractive buildings in the game, and I'm into hood aesthetics. That said, Frenchies look good too.

I used to focus on hood economics, but now my decisions are more subjective. You make good points, and perhaps one day I will build them, but as for now I'm going to use my limited space for hotels.

Go for the condos, simple collection plus good on upgrade. Disregard build time comparison IMHO
