Me too. But by closing the leader boards early, they can now claim that the top 500 went from 23 to more than 25 in the final 45 minutes, even though it took nearly a week to get to a top 500 cut off of 23. You know, as Funzio would claim, thanks to "some really big spenders." So we could get screwed out of the reward anyways. I call that getting "Funzioed."

If it's the same with all the other event items, it should. The way it stacks will be defined correctly by the devs hopefully, because there's 2 ways I can work it out.

Noticing the same thing. Just tested by upgrading a building thinking the faster upgrade may be hidden but the upgrade did not show a quicker upgrade or reduced upgrade time.

I went through with the upgrade. I have the loaded dice so i'm assuming that the street demon does not stack with the loaded dice.

The only thing I can piece together is that if there was a tie then maybe it randomly picked players. Honestly who knows. That's just strange, and I thought somebody said in a post somewhere that the tiebreaker was done by level O.o

How many attempts were you guys averaging a day (for those who used middle option and placed in top 500)? I ended up with 16 using the cash option and maybe 15 attempts a day. Also started the event 16 hours late :( , idk if that would have netted me 9 chips though lol. Was tempted to use gold...but figured whatever I'd have to spend to catch up would be better spent on crates.

I did between 15 and 18 a day and got 27 with just cash only rank 231 out of 500

I ended on 20 chips. :'( Disappointed but I got a well deserved Kingpin Killer. I was dedicated to opening but I was so tired that I passed out at night times and could not be woken up by any alarm. I also went partying with females on Saturday to give me a break from chasing pixels. Oh well. No doubt people with speed demon and knuckles will come back to haunt me just like black widow, golden defence and pretty much all top event prizes. :P
At least I didn't have to spend any real money for my Kingpin Killer achievement.

For future reference, note to self, as quite a dedicated free player, I only managed 20 chips right at the last opening I did. Serious.

25 chips for me in the end. Total surprise, but I sacked some TJ gold, 120 total, to get it done. I was in the top 500 the entire event until the last day, and that includes being bricked for the last two days. I was at 20 chips and fell two behind, and then my tears made my beer too salty so I decided to just use my Tapjoy gold (14 left, 1 bar shy of one last attempt in the final hour). Lol :cool:

Super lucky, my gold opens gave me another 4 chips, and my final attempt with cash got me another chip, the first I received for cash in over 24 hours.

This modifier HAD GODDAM BETTER stack with my Loaded Dice! I won't know for a few days though, I started a long upgrade yesterday (Wednesday), so I won't find out until Monday I think. Maybe Sunday, I don't know.. I'm so burned out from this event and all the beers I needed to be able to tolerate it, I haven't calculated any upgrade times.

I do know from when I got the Loaded Dice though, whatever upgrade you already have in progress will continue as normal and finish at the already set time. Receiving the modifier will not modify any activity already in progress.

Edit: same as The Billionaire, that scratcher only gave me another Viking Blade. Garbage, but it's not cash or RP so at least it wasn't tash that I can earn while taking a dump.

How do you mean? What reports?

No current upgrade will have any time deducted, so if anyone who received the "bonus" already has a building being upgraded, they will have to wait until the next time they start an upgrade before they notice a difference.

The exact same situation occurred back in April when the Loaded Dice (buildings upgrade 25% faster) was an event prize. I really don't want to go STF, I am too drunk and it's already... Damn, 5AM!

But anyways, as I have mentioned a few times, I learn from experience (and history). In the case of faster upgrade times, I learned three months ago that the modifier will not affect current upgrades, but it will take effect when the next upgrade is started.

That being said, you could be entirely correct. I already owned the Bank Buster when I won the Black Widow Shotgun, and the delay in receiving the BWS was, allegedly, due to an "oops" with the way the +100 attack skill worked. Personally, I think they nerfed the value of skill points when they "fixed" the situation before awarding the prize, but personal beliefs aside, the modifier did still eventually get implemented.

Slightly different situations though, since any modifier involving time reduction has always been instantly visible, but those are the best examples based on experience that I can provide.
