10 More Hours!

As the pubs start to come to a close over across the pond how many event players plan on staying up extra late to get in the Top 50 or the Top 500? The only people that should be feeling somewhat comfortable are the top 20. How is everybody else feeling as this grind (toughest event grind yet) comes to a stop?

At current trends the top 500 will end on 23, but I expect a last minute gold bump to occur. I'll speculate that the bump will take it as high as 27 but will likely only end it on 25.

My last 8 gold opens have resulted in no chips.....tough today for sure. I'd advise people to hang on to their gold at this point if they aren't real close to cracking the leaderboard.

Seriously. I didn't use any gold. I still have the 240 gold I won from the double currency event.

Like I posted in another thread...I don't understand why I am getting so many chips per open. I got 7 in a row on day 3; 7 chips in 7 straight cash only attempts! Today I got 2 in a row, then 2-3 fails, then something like a vest, then couple of fails, 10k, couple fails, 50k, couple fails, 2 chips in a row; for 4 chips today and counting.

Out of 67 opens, I'm almost 50% on chips. I have no clue what the odds are or how it's working for me.

The last 2 events: Stuck on 8 and 400 or so gold used, 1400+ gold spent and stuck on 9.

No clue why the better luck this time?

I have 25 just doing cash opens now but had a long dry spell so I did some gold just to try to make sure I stay in the top 500 but I kinda feel like a "dancing chicken" or "cat on a hot tin roof" not sure what it will take but I have some safes and some gold for the end if needed
