I did. Got to boss 25 until I had to use gold. Then only used 20 gold up until boss 30 where I used 40. 120 gold for 30 indestructible units and a 600/500 tank isn't bad.

I won and I got it right away, so i guess I should count myself lucky in thar respect. It did suck, however, that my bosses were stronger than average and I had to start using gold on boss 14 or so. Boss 30 took a boatload of medpacks.

Figured it would have been about 700+ gold to get to 30 based on others comments and while in the scheme of gold spending is a great deal....not plausable for someone who doesn't want to spend that much money on an app game.

No i appreciate the information. I was really torn to be honest as i could have probably gotten 350 tapjoy gold but i didn't think it would have been enough and i would have been really mad at myself if i made it to 29 or 30 and couldn't finish them. I told myself if i made it to 24 i would buy some gold to finish. I still had a blast on the event and would love another one of them.

I finished with 7 Rares and 3 uncommons so by no means am i bummed or do i feel Funzio screwed me. I would have liked to know what the formula for the boss though? Did each level the bosses health increase by 25%? I know it had something to do with level i believe but if the event came around again and i have only leveled once would i produce very similar results? Was there a reason that boost buildings didn't seem to be a factor when beating the boss? Those are the questions i would have loved to have answered so hopefully i could do better next time.

Nope could only make it to boss 15 without gold. Not complaining though I got a veteran fighter and a few other common indestructible units :)

Got the tank just into day 2 of the event. Ending up killing 40 boss for 40 units. Good event. BTW: Free player, did not spend a dime on Gold, but did spend about 10 million in cash on additional units as I leveled up and on the middle attack option.

CC Mark said it was not based on level, but I think it had to be, at least indirectly since attack score, number of allies used, etc is based on level. I agree it would be nice to know more but they don't usually share that info.

Yes, I'm a light gold spender. As luck would have it, the gold purchase I made during the double currency event was a small one, only 110 gold. When I won, I kicked myself for not buying a bigger amount. I had made the purchase just to get enough gold to buy the diamond mine (combined with my TJ gold). Oh well. At least that extra 110 came in handy during this event.

Won the unit with my LLP. Didnt have to use golds till boss #28 and boss #30 only cost 2 medpacks. Smh

My main ac stuck at Boss #21. Had to use gold from #15 and spent 60 golds for #21 so i backd out. Wasted 400 golds. Never again!

Only made it to 20 but I was not able to play for a few days due to weather. I had to use gold starting at 16, spent about 20k valor and added a bunch of allies.

I did enjoy the event minus the glitches but this is a normal for funzio/gree.

my conclusion: since the boss's health seems to be based on the players attack stat, everyone should have had the same difficulty with the event and nobody should have gotten it without gold. however, thats not the case.

Did you kill 30 bosses after it came out? Or did they count your kills from before? You got it pretty early if i remember, and you had to send a ticket in about it right?

No, but I gave it a helluva shot. Check Manbeast's thread to read the details, but I ended up spending 160 tapjoy gold. Really glad I never gave into the crate temptation and just saved it. :D

I had 180 gold I was going to spend it on a 3-pack, but since Funzio decided to repeat The lamest crates to date i decided to just hang on to it. 120 gold later I have the tank :)

I'd try opening another ticket and change the title of the ticket to something other than the default( like "Missing Warlord Tank"). You could also try PMimg CCMark with your current ticket number.

ccmark is useless right now, i pmed him twice and no responses, sent 3 ticks and the subject has never been anything about the tank, just "Ingame problem" and such, maybe i should try "GLITCHER" and see if they care.
