Is it my imagination, or have the items changed? I seem to recall that levels 7, 8, and 9 had items. Now there is nothing after level 6 until you get to level 10.

Yup, and I'm not so happy about it. They removed all the following levels from the respective buildings that were supposed to unlock the following units (a/d, cost). These were pulled from an earlier pList from the forum.

Gnomish Lab:
L7 - Poison Catapult (70/30, 1200 honor)
L8 - Sapper Wagon (55/5, 6000 gold)
L9 - Poison Trebuchet (284/150, 720 gem)

Colosseum:
L7 - Dragoon (47/53, 1000 honor)
L8 - Rune Knight (16/14, 1200 gold)

Wizard Spire:
L8 - Fire Elemental2 (62/35, 900 honor)

Breeding Den:
L4 - Mammoth (17/31, 3600 gold)
L7 - Chimera (85/68, 2000 honor)

I spent 117 hours upgrading the Coosseum to get the Dragoon unit and nada. Waiting for support's response to all of these missing levels and units.

The only time that I can see them coming back as Honor units would be if KA goes down the same sort of PvP ranking as MW. If not, then i doubt they will be released.

So you think they are coming back? I've been hoarding my honor points in case they are back... I have over 20k so farI hope so, been hoarding HP as well and upgrading anyway. Will pass along any news that I hear too.

Yes the steam tank is available at level 10.

Thanks for the info! Didn't save up too many honor points, used up too many of them but guess there is a reason to save them now.. Too bad I don't have the Devil Warlord to make accumulation easier..

It looks like that all taken out are honor and gold units, and they are strong units. It is simply designed to make people to pay for gem units if people want a good army. The whole company just sucked.
