Okay in mw the cement factory says it lowers construction and upgrade cost. When I check the lumbar mill in ka it only mentions construction cost. Nothing about upgrades. Am I missing something here like another building that lowers upgrades, or is my lumbar mill basically useless now that I own every building available besides some defense structures. TIA Marebear

Upgrade costs are loweredThanks for the quick response. I'm currently upgrading a different building so it will be awhile before I could test it myself. Also didn't want to waste the money and time to test it if it would have no effect on upgrade cost. Cheers mb

I don't notice a difference, can't say I see one with the water temple either. Spent a lot to get it up to lvl 5 but, it might be for nothing.

Back to what the OP is about, I just upgraded my mill to 10. It didn't take as much gold as I thought (the online spreadsheet had it way overpriced -- it cost the same as the blacksmith less the x% bonus for each rank) and time-wise it is about a two week upgrade to get to 10.

Now that I have it, I do have some peace of mind in knowing all my upgrades are as cheap as possible. However, in all honesty, MOST upgrades and purchases that most people will be getting are already cheap enough that the upgrades to the mill are not significantly helpful.

The only reason you want to upgrade the mill now is if you know you plan on accessing high end upgrades relatively sooner in the game. Until that time, you could ignore the mill entirely. My suggestion though is that once you do start to upgrade it, go for max level. There's really not much point in leveling it half way.

Thanks, that is super helpful Aoxoa!! Care to offer a suggestion of which strategy to follow for upgrades? I have all the 1st round of buildings (infantry, magic, beast, machine) up to 10. Currently upgrading a boost building. Can't decide if I should work on the fast turnover buildings like the bazaar for faster income ( I log in a lot), my boosts, or start doing the second round of buildings (I, m, b, m). My mw is all over the place and I'd like a better strategy for this game. My stats are level 50, 91 allys, A 11k D 11k.

Unit building levels don't mean a lot if you don't have good IPH to buy units quickly and efficiently.

I did level my bazaars to 10, but I also log in frequently. I've found it to be helpful, especially when I choose to participate in these open the box events.
