New Event Just in time for the 4th of July!

Sorry TC - you snoozed on this one :)

Used "McDoc's Method" to get 9 grenades in 18 minutes.

Not too crazy about the 10th Boat prize or the BP Boost so I'll get the 10th on my regular luck.

Had about 10 opens already since the 9th - only got Defense Cannons, Armored Chargers, and Ghost Hounds - and they will be in the trash bin before this event is over :/

Upside is I am farming crates from Admiral Eno - so every 19th Hit I'm getting an Aquatic Explorer and between 2 to 5 million. Was able to take my bank roll from 7 million to 25 Million in 18 minutes :)

i know!! i got 3 boxes from my energy. i immediately thought about mcdoc and how fast he won the last event. made me want to reset and use gold opens and try to win in the first hr. but then i saw the 10% bp bonus and figured my gold would be better spent on something else

Totally agree that the BP bonus is NOT very motivating. One of those things that is not verifiable - and just like the supposed Valor Boost on previous items - not too reliable.

I just KNEW they weren't gonna throw out another big Unit Boost like the Bear Tank :/

dear god i hope not. that bonus is way too important to be given out in a crate event. definitely needs to be available for purchase, or at least in a pvp tournament.

lol thats funny but i would say that about the boss event not the crate events , the crates are greeeeeat like tony the tigger says , getting harder to get a good start on these events though not dropping as much as usual at the start of last two events . as a free player i have to do the crate events , i would think twice about sitting it out especially if you are a free player even with 8 or 9 they are well worth doing to me .

Tried the attack site after Tate mentioned it and picked up a couple. At 2 grenades now. Heading to the club to shoot some baskets. Let the good juju flow.

Do not try to grasp the juju, for it is like water and the harder you try to grasp it, the more it flows through your hands(unless it is frozen, but then it's ice and you can use it effectively to throw at people, or break it to get a sharp ice shard to stab people with, but that's bad juju). Instead, let the good juju flow over and through you, like a baptism that washes away the sin of bad juju. Then will the crates come, and the grenades, and the weaponry to kick the arses of thine enemies and whatnot.

I'm sitting this one out until tomorrow. Gotta concentrate on getting the tank for now, and my economy can't bear paying for $135K attacks on Shasta, bulking up my attack, and trying to open grenade crates. Plus, for once, the units look fairly lame. They seem to have nerfed them.

I am trying to list all my opens to document the "Rate". I had over 100 opens on the Ground unit Tank Rocket event - which is less and 0% - which Mark has said it never goes to zero. I'm still working on some sort of resolution on that event since I spent over 4500 Gold just trying to get the 10th item and still didn't get it.

Bottom line is - at some point a "game" enters the realm of Gambling and in my opinion, when they keep shrinking the stats to pull more money out of people, then it is actually worse than Gambling.

I am hosting an event next month here in San Diego where my Congressman, Darryl Issa (Fast & Furious lead investigator) will be at my Wedding Garden for a big event. I am prepared to share my opinion in a witten letter at that point about how games like this should be investigated as pure "Gambling" or worse, when the odds are less that Zero - that's no longer even gambling - that's straight up fraud.

Anyway - I keep editing Post #6 in this thread as i open each crate. I recommend you guys pick a post and edit it with your results too so we can all see how this event pans out.

Since we're both in CA, I've also looked at the law regarding the gambling portion of this event under CA law, and it's uncharted territory with the internet games. This state has very limited tolerance for lotteries, but you run into some issues because of the free option ofthe event. Here is a good explanation.

There is a second issue in regards to the odds and the publication requirements and compliance with both federal and each state law. I think that issue is more murky, and has not been litigated as much. I was pretty pissed off after spending $300-$400 trying to win and not winning on one event. They refunded a significant portion and I relaxed a bit, but I would still love to actually see some odds and data. I doubt they would release it absent subpoena.

You really need to using McDoc's way, 900 gold won't do it if you have a lot of boxes on hand. I've found over the last few events that the parts are always in the 2nd and 3rd boxes from 0, i.e. it opens the last box you collected, not the first.
