Ran out of ammo testing the latest addition to my inventory, and waiting for my energy to get high enough for a series hit on one of my favourite PVE targets.

So I am currently in my version of Camping mode.

During which I Pop in for a quick word, have a read and a few chuckles, enjoy a riposte or two with people from around the world whom I would otherwise never have "met". And why not, my time, my choice.

I would say most here are very aware of the stats in relation to the events, a certain percentage get the items, a certain percentage don't.

Hit nine using gold, going to keep using gold until the 1500 runs out... got enough for 27 more opens with gold then cash only... I've made so much valor and cash and a few dragon infantry and ground units but mostly valor and 1.25 million cash drops... I'm happy with that and the other four units but will be happier with the big boat!

In the last 3 event (rocket, night goggles, grenade)

The probability of getting boxes is changed. (funzio lower the probability, i guess)

The probability of finding the certain item is also changed.

In this time, the probability of finding grenades is low.... (since the 2nd one. i used to get 7th more easy & fast)

No matter i use gold or cash, i just can't see the 9th one. (only ally, 300000, & tanks.....

OR its geared this way to put you just behind the top 250 the day before it runs out so you think... if I just use gems... to get squat! and the other 10,000 players who all find themselves in the same spot who 'just' try a few gem opens and the bar moves as fast as you climb it... no thank you.... mid all the way... like to make 20 by close so I get all four basics.

Ive opened 10crates today and nothing but ghost hounds and defensive cannons. I even switched to gold. What a waste! Were running out of time and feeling bad to those im attacking and raiding. Whats worse I've leveled up 3 times!

Not frustating for me at this point. This is how events go. Maybe I'll get 10, maybe I won't. I'd like that boat, but realistically, I'll win or lose it irrespective of how much I want it, so I don't give much energy to wanting it and that helps keep frustration at bay. I also don't give much energy to thinking about the possibility of not getting it, and that helps me enjoy every open.

This is fun, enjoy it. Cuz if they do take away these events, you'll miss them when they're gone. :D And really, you got 9 Flan... that's a good unit all by itself.

I don't think that's it. I know people lie, but a few months back I got into a deep discussion about these events with the support manager.

The only thing that we really know for sure is if you really want the bonus and unit, you can buy it straight up within the first few hours like Mcdoc.

If you don't like these odds, you're going to boned when we get the KA style event. You won't even have a .5 percent chance of winning without spending gold, and lots of it. At least in this you have a chance.

I have no doubt you understand this about odds, but a lot of people here clearly don't so I'm going to say it... Even if the chance was 10 percent or even 50 percent, you could still open 200 times and not be guaranteed a prize. It would just be less likely that would happen, but it could happen without anyone "fixing" anything. Just like you can flip a coin and get heads or tails 20 times in a row despite each flip having a 50 percent chance of one or the other.

I'm happy to report that I got number 10 a little earlier today with about 1day 15hours remaining. I admit it's not the best power going, but at least it's a sea unit. All cash opens.
Also currently on 16 in KA which isn't too bad. It's a shame it's pretty unlikely any free player will reach the top prize, let alone the top 250.
Makes me feel a little better after a poor performance in the epic boss event. ;)

I'm happy to report that I got number 10 a little earlier today with about 1day 15hours remaining. I admit it's not the best power going, but at least it's a sea unit. All cash opens.
Also currently on 16 in KA which isn't too bad. It's a shame it's pretty unlikely any free player will reach the top prize, let alone the top 250.
Makes me feel a little better after a poor performance in the epic boss event. ;)
