Just had a thought.

With this new format of event, i assume we will not be able to continue playing into overtime, or maybe we will but we just wont get any more chips?

Anyone?

If you try it, forget about the leader board. The leader board makes the game crash already. It won't stop forcing a crash in overtime.

The leader board doesn't cause mine to crash.

I would think you could not change your position on the leaderboard in OT..that would really not be fair on others.

The assumption would be the leader board would get a snap shot in time at the 0 minutes remaining mark to award the winners.

The leaderboard is not locally stored so you would not be able to rank any further after the timer hits 0. In the past, the only thing we competed against was the clock, which was stored locally. This is why the event would still inform you of your box being ready, even if you were not in wifi range.

I feel like you can still open boxes, but you will not get any ranks. You will simply get random items and further pointless computer chips.

I would hope you guys are right.

However, the chips are not pointless if you are still trying to win event prizes.

I hope to be on 20 chips by then anyway..I'm on 19 now.

Can't say on OT but I can say my counter(android) started 2 days after Ios, Therefore would expect androids to continue 2 days after Ios has stopped. Still show 1d19hrs.

On KA the top 50/500 prizes were given out quickly after the end of the event and leaderboards were unchanged by OT. OT did work to get the 5/10/15/20 prizes, I got to 15 in OT and got the reward.
