at to 50 there are 50 playes plus the players that have the same number of chips at the bottom place
e.g if the 50th player has 50 chips, all players with 50 chips win.
same at the top 500: if the 500th player has 20 chips, all players with 20 chips win.

I have 25 chips and 7safes. I only used gold on the first day (Im saving some in case the last couple of hours get crazy). Being on android and to be in the top 500 I knew I needed the boost! I went from 17 to 25 in three days with full nights of sleep! I feel lucky because when I need safes they seem to be popping out a lot for me. I even got back to back chips last night before going to bed!

Nope, you'll only need gold if you find yourself in the last place with only 1 hour remaining to end of event. I just only got my #14 (no gold), guess i'll not need gold since i'll most likely not even have a sniff of last place.

If we ever see 10 item events again. Complete gacha is illegal in Japan now and Gree said they would abandon that style of events by May 31st. They lied since apparently one just recently started in MW, but it might just be that they already had an event itinerary planned out and they are just using up the whatever 10-item gacha events they had left.

Gree said they would abandon that event style. They put their logo on the Crime City app, officially making CC a Gree product. That style of event may not be illegal world-wide, idk, but if CC is available in Japan on the same globally accessible server the rest of us play on I would not expect to see that style of event in CC again.

They almost certainly will run a similar event again, and I will not be at all surprised it they make the winners circle even tighter by reducing the amount of people that receive the "grand" prizes to 25/250. That's what they did in KA, and it's only the second time they run a bidding auction event in that game.

All the free players chasing the prize are forced to gain levels in their search for event boxes, which does nothing more than accomplish the goal of creating more cannon fodder for the big spenders.

For me, the size of a mafia should be one of the achievements of the game. When you just add anyone willing to be added, what's the point? The numbers you accumulate have no meaning. Also, you have to equip all those guys with weapons.

Camping and adding real people at will are two things in this game I will never really agree with.

It is not possible to know where you place if you are the top 51 - 500. You just have to get the same number or more chips than the lowest one, which is 20 now to get the prize.

I do have a load of safes if anyone needs them, however I guess you are in the same boat on that front 😢

Level 177 if it helps and you can beat 33k ish defence then come get them and put me out of my misery.

Just got to 19. Currently 2 out of the top 500. I dont plan on getting in the top 500. I realize that many will spend tons of gold in the last couple hours. I think the top 500 will finish with 29-32 chips or so.

My rebuttal - Why is it a great prize to get a free mafia when I can get 10 mafias in 10 seconds (I type fast).
Your rebuttal - Where you get mafia matters. Insinuating that the ones that are won from an event are somehow "better" than ones found perusing this and other websites.

I said it 'should' make a difference where you get them. The fact that it doesn't is whatever. If you choose to add 400 strangers just to get your mob total to 400, then again... whatever. The fact that you can do that in this game obviously means that it's intendend for you to do.

I just don't agree with it. Moreover, I've found that most of the people who complain about being beaten to shreds by other players could just drop members all the way down the lower tier and not be weak. They're weak at the upper tier specifically because they haven't equipped all their people to a point where they can defend their hood.

It's a preference, and as I said, I don't care.

i got a char on Iphone and i got 10 but playing slowly and not always (lvl22 lol)

on Android i spend Gold yes.... i have open many and many box and spend near 2 vaults... that ridicule i know, shame on me... i have never pay so much for a game...( that my last buy i have see how they work.. i love play not to be scam lol ) and i have 42 years and a long long players ;)

There are only 50 players in the top 50. If anyone is tied, the tie is given to the higher level player. This keeps the top 50 at 50 players and the top 500 at 500 players. The leader board shows the top 50 and then 500th place. The players from #51 to 499 are not listed.

Simply put, you'll need to spend another 4-5 vaults at least considering you are lucky opening and getting chips 1 out of 3 or 4.

What country are you from?

I ask because here in the U.S. Android users get the event a day later than i-Phone. Internationally, this difference seems to be even greater. With this event there was an update that you had to download before the event would even show up.

I am 99.9% sure that it's not your fault that the event isn't showing up on your device because we all get them at different times.

I've been stuck 16 for over a day now. I've only had two chips since I touched the leaderboard for 25 minutes Monday.

Today, 8 of 10 attempts have been fails. Gotta love it when you close strong!

I had the same problem but with a 3 day delay. When there is an event Funzio post an update of the game. If you don't update the game I don't think you get the event. Looking out for updates works for me.

Now the issue I have is the event will disappear for about a day after the first day of playing. At least I start with everyone else.

I suspect a lot of people will be pissed off tonight. There will probably be between 10 and 20 people making a serious push for the top 50 who will miss out and several hundred who are on the cusp of making it into the top 500. I suspect that most of the people trying for top 500 and failing will be free players who got pretty lucky, but not quite lucky enough. There will also be a bunch of people who decide at the last minute to dump a relatively small amount of gold because they figure they only need 1 or 2 to get the top 500 and might not get there.

There will also be 500 people who will be quite happy.

It's almost 3:00 A.M. Eastern Time (east coast US), and I suspect a large percentage of players are asleep right now. I really doubt anyone trying to squeak into the top 500 is staying up until the last minute to spend gold.

Edit edit : got 20th cash again with 1 hr left 3 behind 500th place - going for it bought just a truckload 650 gold - got 5 chips out of that obviously resetting everytime (less than hour left) still have 30 gold left can't believe they froze the leader board - figured I was through because I was only 2 on top of 500 th when frozen - ended up in 372nd place how all those peolple with 23,22,& 21 ahead of me already and still jumped 128 places above 500 - wish I could find out how many places I really came up but I'm speechless almost bought a vault - best fifty bucks ever spent in this game I'm suprised more people hovering around 500 didn't use same strategy and I'm only level 127 I figured even if I tied there would be plenty of people at a higher level that would knock me off - not too crazy about this kind of event too nerve racking and that suprised leader board freeze that probably stopped a lot of people in their tracks

He's right I had over 150 safes throughout event - ended with 99 left and placed 372 with only 25 chips - spent 620 gold in last hour to get last five but I got 9/10 safes attacking this one guy pvp and took 2 more from his clothing store and warehouse ( never a stamina or energy refill either)
