Top 50 beware!

There are just over 2 days left and I am VERY curious to see how many chips will be needed to make the top 50. I have an android phone so as you all know I had a late start. This was the first event I ever bought gold for knowing that if I wanted to be in the top 500 I would probably have to. After 2 days of using gold for energy refills, opens and resets I have been pretty comfortable being 8 chips ahead of whoever was at 500. I haven't used gold the last three days (I saved some in case things get crazy for the final few hours) and have still been getting safes and chips using the cash option. I have gotten 5 or 6 chips this way and remain 8 chips ahead of rank 500 (currently at 15 chips). I believe that whoever is at the bottom of 500 are either lucky free players or light gold spenders.

Here is what interests me: My distance from 500 has remained the same, however, my distance from 50 has consistently increased. From the time I stopped using gold I went from being 10 chips away from 50 to being 27 chips away! Currently to be in the top 50 you need 50 chips. Any guess on what that final number will be?

So here is why my topic is "Top 50 Beware": Anyone who is 1 or 2 chips away from the top 50 are so close to the Street Demon they can smell the leather seats! They will purchase more gold and make that final push to get in. Those that are currently towards the bottom of the top 50 are going to be disappointed with only getting the Diamond Fists (I would be 100% satisfied with "just" getting this item!) So they too are gonna purchase gold and do what they can to maintain their position.

I wouldn't be comfortable right now even if I was ranked 32 which is 10 chips ahead of rank 50. Like I said, I am VERY curious to see how many chips will be needed for the top 50 at this rate. I would also love to have someone honest to share with us how much they spent to end up there! By the way, now make that 51 chips for the top 50!:eek:

Actually on Android it shows the Diamond Fists as top 500 and 10% upgrade. Street Demon as top 50 10% mafia attack. Don't kno if that's a glitch or not.....

I got it right. Those close to 50 can smell the leather seats. Those that fall out of the top 50 will "only" get the Diamond fists. By the way... read my last line!

The only thing I changed from my original post was that I have been playing for free for three days instead of two. I know that that line was in there because it cracked me up that my whole point was how fast the top 50 is moving and by the time I was done it was already up one more. It kind of proved my whole point!

So what does the iOS list as the prizes? On Android it is Top 500: Diamond Fists A:311, D: 227 (Buildings upgrade 10% faster). Top 50: Street Demon A:624, D: 476 (10% Mafia Attack). I would think iOS is the right one since Android is always behind!

There must be an issue on either iOS or android then. They can't make the same item have two different modifiers can they? Does that mean the top 500 will have both 10% faster upades and +10% mafia attack, but only the top 50 will get the top 50 item? I doubt it...

So somebody screwed up..... Again! Wow, the screw ups are almost constant! Lol!

Whether the top 500 item is a melee or a vehicle is fine with me. However, I would much rather have the 10% increase towards my upgrade time! What does the iOS version say?

According to your post the top 50 get the vehichle and +10% mafia attack, but on iOS it's the knuckles. So I don't see how Funzio expects to have two separate modifiers for the same items, unless the android event is completely separate from the iOS event. Or unless both items have both modifiers, but they are falsely advertised.

If they are, then why are both platforms on the same server? It doesn't really make a lot of sense to do everything separately but make everyone play against each other anyways.

Are the attack and defense stats the same but the items are switched? Also, are the 10% increases the same (10% faster for buildings for top 500 and 10% attack for top 50)?

The Street Demon is the consolation price for this event. A 10% decrease of upgrade time is really not worth spending gold on unless you had the dice from before imo

Still not worth it IMO. You need longer upgrade times to save for the super expensive upgrades.

Unless you have the dice and the striker from before.

The higher chip amount the 50th player needs, the more stupid people are.
If there are 50 retarded "Kevin", the 50th player will have to have 100+ chips to squeeze in.

I think everybody still has a stupidity limit,even kevin does. And if funzio will push even harder in the next event, this game is coming to an end.
