Did it get harder for everyone else at 12 as well?

Got off to a good start in this current event and got 12 in the first day and a half, which put me about 4 above number 500 (never worried about top 50) but since I have not got a single chip including a whole day of nothing but "sorry try again" to the point I am now 4 off the top 500 so have dropped 8 chips.

Did everyone else find it got a lot harder at a certain point or is this event more linear and I am just on a real unlucky streak. If would have thought with people getting over 100 it is more the second option otherwise each chip must be costing them thousands of gold which I would find hard to believe.

I don't think it gets harder at a certain point, I think the "fair" chance to open is not as close to 50/50 as I would have hoped. And then it's still a list of randomly selected items if the box does open, but it doesn't seem like you are any more or less likely to get any one item including a chip.

IMO, open rate sucks big time since there's no guarantee of getting a chip and the big spenders are going to open hundreds of boxes anyways. There will probably be hundreds of people tied for spot 500, I think.

I was stuck on 13 for over a day, but then had 3 consecutive chips this evening.

The wall came at 10 chips for me and that's when I stopped the gold spend for this event. It's knowing when to fold is the key I think. The top 100 are in one hell of a gold spending war. Plenty of events to come, so I'll bide my time.

For top 50 definitly, top 500 still looks possible without spending gold if you are lucky, being L200 I am hoping tied goes to level means higher level since then I only need to equal not beat the 500th person to be asured to get it.

Since 14, 6 of 8 attempts have been fails.

I doubt there is more than 1 or 2 in top 500 without spending gold from my personal experience and anecdotes on the open rate/conversion rate. The times are a changin'.

u never o on top 50 to late and u need to spend 1000 Gold by day's for top 50 ! if u are not spend 2000, and if u are not again spend ur money for vacancy, not important lol.. Fuzio can go on vacancy after this event, i'm sure they make 300.000 €uros on this event

NTM, If GREE/Funzio follow their pattern, there's already another event in another one of their games only rewarding the top 25/250. They may make some major cash this go around. I have a very difficult time believing they can sustain this money grab in the same, but more difficult to win, events without losing players over it.

look at the top 50 they are many not only 50 players, i think for have the top 500 u need to spend 4000 Gold, cash option u make nothing, i got on iphone and got 8 proof ^^ on Android i got 31 Computer chip at the moment, i need 24 for top 50, in 5 hours i lost 6 chip, i was 18 before sleep, i don't search to hit top 50 but stay on 500.. not sure i'm on in 2 day's ^^

that why that my last event and my last spend, i close my account googleplay, i have never sped so much last 10 years... lol... i don't see the point and the fun on this game if u need to pay all items and all event, that life but that not this a game, ok u need to pay but all second ? lol.. never see this..

so u have reason, they lost players but new come and got screwed again by the game and spend.. that only with that they can survive.. and facebook users.... that the new game.... after they cry after hackers.....

another point of Gold buyers : many buy Gold with credit card steal, so they can make 100 computer chips.. that why..... no one can spend so many, a real gamer/players don't spend so much..

so Funzio take black money from steal Credit card, not realy cool but that why they survive...and why in this event u can see many fake goldbuyer, they buy with the money of other !
