Hey all,
Just so you know, I'm moving into the Community Manager role here at GREE. I'll be running the player-facing community program. I'm handing the Support team off to a couple of really fantastic people from the team (you know them and love them).
That said, here's what I'm working on:
Actually developing a scale-able and forward-facing community plan.
Repairing a lot of the damage done with not informing you in a timely manner.
Develop and run some community events.
Develop solid reporting for community buzz and sentiment to send to our product team (that thing I've been working on all weekend).
Here's what I need from you:
Feedback - Keep it coming! The more you can bring to me the more I can send to our team and we can work on things and measure impact.
Ideas - Share your ideas with me. I'll be starting some threads for you to suggest things you'd like to see, and I'll do what I can to get them made.
Understanding - This is going to be a massive undertaking, so bear with me a bit and pardon the dust.

Yes, I updated both of my iPads one or two days before the event. One iPad saw the event (6day 7hr left) and the other never did the whole time. I uninstalled and reinstalled but was told by Funzio not to do that but stay in game five minutes then exit and renter game to trigger the event. That is all they said in response.
I was pretty upset that I lost about 2.5 hours of the demon box event due to the invalid data/ can't find server issue many folks were having. I guess the worst part was tha I ended up with 14 vials and could have squeezed in a couple more chances to get to the 15 that was my goal. I understand nothing can be done about it but it's those small frustrating things that add up over time. I'd also like to see some more maps, I'm nearing the end and reall prefer the quest game as opposed to pvp. Before to long I'll just be left with add to your alliance ( which you can't get to large so you stay away from the money players for the most part) and the tourney option.
Sludge if you do get a response it will be a canned we are aware of the issue and apologize for the incontinence. Just hope the next one shows up for ya

Personally, I think that the communication about upcoming events needs to be better.
At the very least, tell us when it is supposed to start so that everyone can get a heads up and start searching the App Store etc for updates. It is getting tiresome both in KA and MW for me to go onto the forum and see that an event has been going on for 4 hours and nothing is showing on my iPhone.

It appears that you have to be at least level 10 to see the event. That's too bad for us low levels EXCEPT for the IPH event. How can one event be for everyone and the next not? I seen a level 3 with the Arcane Defender but at level 6 I get nothing. At least be consistence with the rest of your events.

The problem with that is that we don't have 100% rock solid release times for things. They get pushed back, or something breaks and we have to pull them. I agree that we don't notify fast enough, and we're working on that. Advance notice might be too much to ask for though.

Is it possible to have a pop-up in-game that says something like "a new event has started, please go to the app store to get the new update to run the event"? I missed two days of the current CC event as I stayed off the forums and had no idea it was going on.

Others have asked before, but can we get name and power sorting options for units, equipment and other loot? For example, when you kill a boss and something drops, it would be nice to be able to reasonably quickly find that item and look at its stats. Similarly, when planning what units to purchase, it would be nice to easily see how many of what units you already have.

There is a thread with suggested game improvements. It would be good if you could at least "specifically" state what changes have been made when a new release comes out. Ideally, publishing which enhancement requests are on the roadmap to be released would be great.

I hate having to always ask for a gold refunds from a mis-tap & even though Support is very timely, one time it only took 2 hours before it was refunded, but it is still a hassle to ask for a refund.

More importantly a gem confirm button. On some of the gems I accidentally tapped (and some I don't know where it went) too many a times that I feel not e-mailing on some of them coz I feel Funzio is gonna get tired of me.

Im not a cash player, so I can overlook accidentally clicking to spend gold, but I absolutely believe there should be a confirmation button on Gem spends. Its far too easy to click buttons that spend gems, and I don't even have any.

1000% agree; the script/procedure to sort those should be performance neutral and take 5 mins to write.

Here are my suggestions
1. During events – no one likes to receive grunts or low units - I would prefer to see sorry than to get a grunt or low value unit
2. Would like the ability to sell units, weapons/armor or grunts back, even at half value
3. Spread events out a little – at least two weeks between events
4. Give a one day advance notice of events to forum members
5. Have the ability to sort units, weapons and armor by name and values
6. Allow upgrading buildings to be moved
7. On the Ally request list, show the A/D stats
8. Give the ability to delete a posting from the Newsfeed. We can delete it from the comments but it stays on the newsfeed. I want the newsfeed to keep the people who try to attack me, not to be wasted with silly comments. Also either make the Delete X button larger or move to the side. Hard to hit it on my phone.
9. In the future instead of nerfing weapons/armor on the maps, why not change the value of weapons from conquered level maps. For those that start out late, it is impossible to catch up with someone who has farmed a lot of 35 value weapons. If the value of the loot diminished as the map level increased, there wouldn’t be a need to have future nerfing. Someone is not going to want to farm a level 5 map that is dropping lower value loot when they can go to the next map. This gives the newer players a chance to catch up.

I've asked for the same confirm button in CC for months.

Congrats CCM. You have a difficult task ahead of you. i would like to see the 50 pending requests, which is the max you can see right now become just like the ally list where you can load more to see all your allies.

Yeah, I have not emailed Support for mis-taps, but I wish I had. They are very understanding & helpful, gotta love 'em!

Bring back the former events! People will still complain, but youll still make money off of some of the said free players for that last chance to get the cool unit at the end. :)

I've asked once but I'm reluctant to make a habit of this - my mistaps currently usually result in only small amounts of gems or gold being lost. Who knows, maybe one day I'll buy a large amount of gems/gold - last thing I want would be to accidentally spend that only to be told by Gree that they won't refund due to my having a suspicious history of asking!

You should have had an e-mail account set up when you activated your iPhone... Not sure if this is the case with iPads as I don't own one. Essentially, just add an e-mail account to your iPhone/iPad and select that address in the Cc/Bcc field in the e-mail that the "Contact Support" button sets up.

CCM I would like to see classes on the weapons / armor so players have vision on what they can and cant use. Also sparks interest and conversation between players etc
Also what about on players profile seeing what they have accomplished eg:
pvp quests - lvl 110
Mission Quests - Dwarven Mine
Rare Quest - Shipwreak Cove
Build Quest - lvl 10
Maps complete - 8
That way we can compare to other players :)

I reported a potential cash cheater with over $15 million in units and equipment (including a lvl 10 Breeding Den) with only 2,500 IPH who seems to be adding hundreds of thousands per day and has absolutely no gem items. They are still on my feed and are still racking up Dragons and Equipment 6 days later. Thanks!

I think I know the one you mean - he attacked me the other day and i couldn't work out how the hell he had managed to accumulate such an army with such a poor income.
