Rivals List Mess Up??

Ok so I'm level 118 and I just finished attacking a level 92 person.(no screenshot) What does that mean about whale territory?? That it starts at 90-ish now instead of 120?? When I was at level 95 I couldnt even see to level 100 and now I can see people in the 90's. Any insight or similar experiences?

level 114, nothing such for me yet. i can still only see plus or minus 2 levels.

i have that problem too, i have 1 page of the same exact rivals ranging from lvl 63-92 and all have atleast 320 allies (i have 190 now) if i reload the rivals list it goes away but every few reloads the same page will show up.

next time it happens ill screenshot it.

Don't forget kids that the rivals list looks at TWO parameters. Level being the first and the number of ALLIES being the second so depending on the second parameter you may see a much broader range of levels.......

If I may, do not add allies, in fact you might want to get rid of a few more.....I have added nearly 100 and I am at 370s. If I remove 80 I think I would still have 20,000/20,000

Agent Orange is giving good advice re the allies.

From my recent experience things don't start to get messy till around level 122 when there seems to be a swag of "low cas" players with around 300 allies.

Admittedly I came through the levels with a low ally concept and didn't find the open water till level 123 and decided to go to 325 allies.

No, his ally count on his stats wall is over 500, his ally count in the star on the rivals list is 455.

Ohhhhhh.... He sounds like a hacker.... Gin, i would think that if this guy was a hacker he'd be able to adjust the issues, get hundreds of high valor units and have the no cas glitch. As for the rivals list, I'm at 67 with 205 allies and can see up to lvl 78, and I just gotta say, it was fun attacking someone at that lvl with 400+ allies and winning! Did my little heart good! On the other hand, I have been attacked by rivals as many as 10 lvls higher than me as well, thankfully didn't lose those ones tho.

Laube and Dave both have the LE Set bonus units. Could that have to do with anything??

My rivals list recently started alternating between showing rivals sorted by level/allies and sorting by rank.
When it sorts by rank i can see levels 49 - 75 ish (i'm level 55) and any number of allies.
I've seen as low as 12 allies and as high as 1000 and i have 275.

I've been having a similar issue my rivals list for the last few weeks.
It would only appear to be using a players level as its criteria. I'm level 58 with 81 allies. My list shows people similar in level, generally within ten levels above or below, however their ally counts range from 15 to 340!

There are two players I know of who are level 90's appearing in the whale zone both above 500 and below 500.

Is it possible one or both were messing with those people that offer to "hide" you account and something goofed?

I have seen a level 92 and I just saw a level 94, Dave22k A/D 470 allies. I am level 139. Refreshed and see Laube lvel 93, 32kA/D. Refreshed again and those two keep popping up. See others starting at high 120s up to 200.

PM reply from CCM said that the way the battle lists are sorted might be behind it.

They both have over 1000 allies now but the list indicates 455 ish for them, perhaps they will need to do a purge and reset.

It is odd that Laube has a helicopter in his Sea units though....

Q- it could be that Laube's ally list got jacked with. Lot of my old allies I can't see right now, but they're on a list somewhere.... Ghosts I guess. My pending folder turned into my ally folder at some point, and all my allies got wiped. Still got messaged from time to time by allies who visited me afterward...

If anyone would like to do me the favor of visiting me and letting me know what my ally count is showing, I'd appreciate it very much. Just wanna see if things are matching b/w what I have on my end and what everyone else sees. My sig is up to date BTW. PM would be swell. Kinda wondering if the changes in my rivals list arerelated to my stupid ally list...

Me personally, wouldn't touch him as he really isn't supposed to be seen by us. If he had attacked you, fair game, otherwise not for me.

From memory you experience the low casualty glitch, better hope it is still working as if you dumped on the wrong one you are likely to have a few visits yourself....

Agree with Q, that is an unfair battle and his stats for his lvl are likely alright.
I've been able to see rivals on my list as many as 8 lvls lower with 72 allies. Wouldn't touch those guys.

On the other hand, I'm seeing lvls as high as 105 and 1500+ allies with some unvaulted cash so I'm picking my fights carefully right now. I'm at lvl 69 with 215 or so and I'm thinking that they messed with the rivals list pretty bad! And Support has to know that there is a problem but aren't doing anything about it.

As for what is showing, Laube isn't the only one. I have seen numerous showing between 200 - 355 with huge discrepancies once I look at their stats. Have taken pics to forward to CCMARK.

I just reached Level 130 and my rivals' list changed significantly...

I am not sure if they messed with it or this is the result of whale territory, but I noticed the following things which are new (I had 480 alies, and dropped to 420 but made no difference):

- I can see the top players (Level 200 with 200,000 attack) on the list regularly
- The list is no longer sorted by allies or levels but randomly mixed
- I can see a Level 200 player with 500 allies on the same page as a Level 127 player with 268 allies

WTF? Is this normal at this level or they messed with the list again?

I can see as high as L200 and as low as L120

Seems to me that there is no more hiding at my level from the whales, since lowering ally count simply puts me to a disadvantage (smaller army) without providing a hideout...

Level 130 is currently the level when you can see up to the highest level. Seeing down to around the 120 mark is also correct. This might vary for the over 500 ally people, not sure as still working my way up to that point.

At 480 allies Ascent, you will be seeing the lower sectors of the 500 ally group but they cannot see you. At 400 allies I see to just under 500, apart from the obvious error of Laube. It is your choice as to whether you hit someone above 500 or not. If you do then obviously they have access to you via their feed.

How do we know that if I see the lower 500 players they cannot see me? My theory was that if they show up rarely (but do show up) on my list, then I must also show up on theirs, although rarely (which I can live with as a risk).

I am searching for a spot on the ally count where I can camp for a while and upgrade my over 30 million buildings... I have 600,000 valor which I plan to spend on 2000 MLRSs to give me around a 100,000 defense with composite, boost building, nation boost and the higher valued event prize gold units. This would give me peace of mind from most players but the gold whales to accumulate tens of millions outside the vault.

An thoughts on this strategy?

For me this rival list mess up started after the boss event when i saw a group of different level players with Laube topping this list.
Every couple of times refreshing the rival list i saw the same group again.
I asked some of them to be allies resulting in replacement by a new name.
Since this morning it looks the group is larger now, resulting in multiple pages of them, but Laube currently level 108 moved away from the rival list.
I am level 72 myself and can see now players level 68-82.
Those players all have similar characteristics, like over 4500 fights won and always are together on a rival list page.
It looks like when you are over 4500 wins you are visible for levels beyond your reach, but this is of course hypothetical.
Perhaps i can better stick to raiding an do not so many attacks.

I am a little bit sad that Laube is not in my rival list any more because I started to admire him last week.
He moved from level 93 to 108 in 5 days having over 5000 fights and increasing his A/D with more then 20K.
Even he had been offered protection from the pirates sometimes on his wall, who warned everybody do not attack him.
I was monitoring his stats every day and took some screenshots. Almost Hollywood material his fighting, must have been on Red Bull all week.

If they attack they attack. I've checked a few of their bases out and they are stronger than me, Laube has the highest stats, but most of the rest aren't especially strong. If I added from my req list, I think I'd be ok.

Odd things with the rival list, seems to be a lot of new names popping up.

Given what just happened I am wondering if there have been people not appearing on the list for a long time.
Cruising around and spotted a level 200 over vault at 12,300,000 so dropped in for a few hits.
Got one of $300K and then the "Can't attack" came up, but the flag was still showing above their character (often happens) so I kept going till I got another recorded hit (only $140 instead of $300K and then the game crashed).

When I went back in I had almost 5,000,000 extra and was missing quite a few units???

Still ended up almost $4 mil in front after replacements so was happy with that, opponent sent an unhappy face message a bit after so obvious that the hits were going on I just didn't get a record of them.

Then I remembered for some reason I had taken a screen shot of them and checked it. Wasn't 13 million, it was 130 million and there stats are under 30k defence. Cannot see how they could have gone so over vault and kept it safe???

Can't find them again now either......(But i am getting visions of flotillas of Aircraft Carriers:p)

"The rivals list situation is due to the self-adjusting nature of the rivals list; we're working on that right now to get the best balance for everyone..."

Right now I'm level 71 with 130 allies and on one refresh could see down as far as level 64 with 544 alllies and up to 73 with 603 allies (on the same list!), but that changes constantly with refreshes.
