3 axe smashers!! I've come to terms with the fact I'll probably never get the grand prize in scratchers. But to get 3 wow!!

No because I got 4 several times and I received the tiger blades... Maybe it was later on though.

Edit: I got panther blades, not tiger blades

same thing as the old crate prizes or nerfed m4s, they wont take em away coz they messed that event/crate prize bug/m4 nerf. whoever is lucky to take advantage from it will keep what he got. at least thats what i think, and this was not intentional, just pure luck. but i dont want to tell the whole story since theres some personal info included.

hope he steps in and enlights you

How is it fair?

So basically Funzio encourages us to exploit glitches?
Next time I see that kinda BS I'll exploit the **** out of it.

I didn't buy those scratchers (as I think Dravak or Dipstick suggested that get them (win 4) and request them being awarded as advertised) thinking it's just a glitch and I don't want to get an unfair advantage from it (I had a vault sitting in my account that time).

Mark, please ask the team to fix it. You guys loosing any credibility over this game. Common.. Step it up a bit in terms of details and fairness..

Here goes the story that I heard:

The guy is definitely not a beta tester. The guy had some work to do so he gave his 5 year old his Ipad while he was working. His son actually plays CC on his mom's phone just collecting buildings etc... I guess his son became pretty thrilled with the whole scratch idea and realized dads Ipad has much more gold bars than mommy's phone. He proceeded to scratch away to the tune of about 6000 gold. When his dad checked in and saw about 6000 missing he was like WTF? His dad was pretty upset about 6K gold missing until he checked his inventory and saw 3 axe smashers. Anyway some people say he is really a lucky boy and others say something must have been wrong with the prize chart. His dad will never know and followed up on a great suggestion and took his whole family to the zoo last weekend!!!

This is the story that I heard.

Hahaha, That's hilarious!! Another reason why my 2.5 year old does not play with daddy's phone! Although I may try it to see if he has better luck than me :p

great story and a happy end, i buy it. with 6000 gold there should be some good drops at least so this seems totally legit to me.

Hard to believe, but no other choice.. :)
Who keeps 6000 gold in their account? Xenoke? :)
Way to spend 6000 gold.. I think crates would have yield much better result :)

How about a little more irony here? You (DenZ1) were the guy that suggested to buy discounted Itunes gift cards and then buy gold on sale. Do you remember that? Therefore, the guy in the story thought it was such a good suggestion that last sale he bought around 20K gold after getting $1000 worth of discounted Itunes gift cards ($850) at BestBuy. (No this guy is not Xenoke, 6000 gold on crates yielding better results would be debatable.)

To sum up this thread can anybody guess who the guy is in game and what his level is? I for one would like to know.

1 vault can yield around 800-1400 in stats. On average it's been 1100 so 4 vaults on average will yeild about 4500 in stats (talking about attack). So if those axes are 1300 a piece, it'll be 3900. The rest depends what goodies were yielded by the other 297 scratchers.. I guess overall it was a better option then crates.. Rhino.. :)

Personally I would spend it all quickly so I buy cards on sale once in a while not in 1 shot. This way I dont spend that much money in shot.. Simply can't afford it.

The chances if totally random are (assuming 6 matches were required) are approximately 1 in 470,184,984,576
So, I am voting for "something else". This number is based on [(6^6)/6] * 3

I think your yield needs to be determined by what you are replacing and how lucky you are at getting rares / uncommons in the crates. 1 vault can yield 800 - 1400 but current stats play a big part in if crates are worth it. If you have 50K, 60K, 70K etc... crates can start to become less effective the higher you get. This is where some people just decide to start getting only limited items and filling in gaps.

Why are you still arguing about this...? We already know how he got the 3 axe smashers.

I wasn't arguing about anything. I was only pointing out the odd is it was a random event. The conclusion is that the chances are not high that the odds are what we assume. Fornexample, I would suggest that matching six items to get the prize (already suggested) is much more likely. I could make a case that if 6000 gold was used getting 4 matches is not so improbable.

No aurgument about this at all. Hearing the story that it was his son that did it is a kinda cute and compelling drama.
