New CCAndroid Update (Critical!)

Hey all,

Just released a bugfix patch for CCA, and unfortunately it seems to be crashing a lot of devices. We're fixing this, but please uninstall the latest patch. Make sure you are not on version 2.1.2. I'll update when we have more info.

UPDATE: New version is out (2.1.3) that fixes the issue. Let us know if you're still having crash problems.

thanks god for the forum. i've just woke up and i wanted to get the 2.1.2 update. but i decided to read the forum first. so this means i should not update the game for now?

There is no roll-back option in Android...I don't suppose an uninstall-reinstall would work as I'd get the same version again from the app store. Does anyone know if I uninstalled this, would I get my hood back in re-install? I did do the game transfer thing once but I'm not sure if that is an ongoing backup or just for one time transfer.

Found a solution for us. I just installed CC from the amazon appstore and my game was still there. Their version is 2.0.2

Since I upgraded my Galaxy Nexus to JellyBean I can no longer see my cash or gold in either the main screen, the 'equipment purchase screen' or the 'Add funds' screens.

Well i updated this morning and it works fine but i am fed up weekly updates- Why can't they just fix all the bugs than release it as long as their is a working version out there they don't keep fix one bug at a time than release an update it just monthly updates for this game it would be much better. 20MB might not be much every week a new update really get gets annoying.

Unless they add scratchers to a new version they really no point update it just for a patch update?.

It depends on your phone. I have an HTC Evo 3D, and don't have that option, so I went to the Android "Play Store", click on "my apps", and uninstalled the reinstalled the game. The game has been refusing to open since yesterday, but this fixed it immediately. Good Luck.

When you uninstall your game, your hood stays the in the same condition as the last time you played except it takes a few seconds to load all your buildings.

The events have decreasing odds the more items you have, is it the same here? Or is it truly random?

It's almost been a month since scathers has been launched and everyone in rival list have fantastic item which mean i can't attack them.

Rivals list is seriously screwy. Im at level 96, can see super mobs on level 200.

Well i have had no problem being attack and robbing all day but i am only level 42 but it does seem higher levels had this problem.

Just updated to 2.1.4 on an EVO. Attack was 24000+ and defense was 23000+. Level 107, screen name Jake. Attack and defense now showing under 19000 and lost access to the current special event (showed up earlier today). Anyone else seeing similar issues?

Greetings all, my first post here.

After the recent update, my Total Mafia Attack & Total Mafia Defense stats have reduced GREATLY.

Defense was 50,000+, now down to 39,287. Attack was close to 50, now down to 34,969.

I have spent a considerable amount of real money to enhance my game play, and I am really hoping the developers will kindly look into this and rectify the situation.

Same thing here, attack and defense scores have dropped almost 25% .
I hope this can be fixed otherwise what's the point of playing if this is going to happen.

Same thing happened to me. I contacted tech support. They were very responsive but I don't think fixed the issue. It did come back about 12 hours later. It happened to me last event as well.

This is why i have disable auto update function for this app i only update it when i check fourm to see whether there are any problems with new update and it's good thing i waited :).

Ive had the same issue with my attack and defense dropping drasticly. Is this permanant or will they fix this?

It should fixed in next update but you might wait a few days for them to release it :(.

FYI mark,
I haven't heard any body else complaining but since the last update my game has become stupidly unstable. I may have to load the game a couple of times before it runs long enough to just try to open an event item.

50% of the time it just crashes on launch, the rest of the time it flashes red/flickers or just kicks me out for random reasons.

It also does not seem t be able to stay running if i put the game in the background to read my browser or do something else.

'Running' the android version on asus transformer BTW.

ETA: erm, it seems to have improved after a reboot ;)

Hi,

Been reading this forum for a little while and finally joined up.

Same problem with my attack and defense since the update,
Attack has dropped from around 3900 to 3201
Defense has dropped from around 5100 to 4595

Enjoying the game though! Particularly that brief glimpse of high level players I got on the rivals list before the update. Was wondering what their hoods would look like.

I'm level 51 by the way, started playing in April.

I was wondering if the lower stats was a fix for the inflated stats we see. For example profile defense is almost always higher than the defense you bring to a fight. I have also noticed before the update my attack on my profile was over inflated. It is now accurate. It would be nice though to know for sure.

2. My stats still don't seem to be updating correctly. I have more mafia members than Armor or Vehicles. When I get a new vehicle, I get full value as expected. When I get a new armor, I only get partial value. I.E picking up Boxing Trunks loot shows it should add 8 defense, but I only get 2 added to my total value. Am I missing something in the calculations?

BTW, I am fairly new here, so I apologize if the questions are not good ones.

Yeah, you're missing something. There is a mafia contribution cap. There are a few threads about that if you explore around.
