View Full Version : Find out which level 10 buildings increase your IPH the most......

Everyone has a different style of play when it comes to upgrading money buildings.

Personally i like to select a couple of buildings and get them levelled up to 10 as soon as possible.

Normally i pick a building with costly upgrades and then pick another one with cheap upgrades so whilst i'm saving for the costly upgrades i can work on the building with the cheaper upgrades.

Below is the chart i use to decide which buildings to focus on with the long term goal being the greatest increase to my income per hour stat.

The chart also helps me to decide which buildings to construct because i'm not a fan of building two of everything. I see this in so many hoods and think it's a great watse of time and money because you just end up with loads of low level buildings. The greatest increase to our IPH stat comes from the high level building upgrades.

Obviously everyone has a different level of activeness within Crime City so the 1 hour collection buildings rank higher up the list than they should because nobody is going to make all 24 collections and if you do get some sleep or seek help.

So the below shows the building, the amount collected from that bulding when its at level 10 and the Income Per Hour from the building when its at level 10.

If you had 2 of every building at level 10 your IPH would be $17,016,460

I know this information is probably on numerous spreadsheets somehwere but this is a simple breakdown that helps me increase my IPH stat and i wanted to share it with you because i've found it very useful when deciding which buildings to focus on.

All the figures below are based on the Tycoon incomes but they'll rank in the same order for all classes.

Thanks for reading

Pal, I see you did some effort trying to figure out the Econ, I was just like you 3 months ago.
But this list is just not mature enough that it can't help you on upgrade decision or anything.

Just point out some basic problem,
you have to build TWO of everything if you think this building worth your time and level them evenly.
Not every building will be upgraded to level 10, a lot of them will be sold half way,so you can't compare like that and apply into the early game develop, it will only lead you to an abyss and stuck at poor income rural ages.

I have to disagree mate

I not a fan of selling buildings hence why i use this list to pick the buildings i want in my hood and they'll always stay in my hood. You're right not all buildings will be levelled up to 10 but i use the list to make sure i pick the right ones to focus on, the ones that will increase my IPH the most.

It's worked very well for me so far, i've got both my Ice Cream Parlours and both my Techno Clubs up to level 10. Both of my Movie theatre's are at level 8 and my lofts are at level 5. I'm currently focusing on my Empire Theatre's whilst saving for my MT and Loft upgrades and i'm just about to unlock the Dominicians.

It may seem like worthwhile at the moment judging by Level 103 - Att=24580 - Def=28057 - IPH $170264
but all those building will end up being a waste of space later (not necessarily literally but just not worth even collecting) if you get to a point where you are actually using 500 landmines you will quickly realise you might as well delete any building that can’t be collected on time and for more than 1M per collection. Nothing more frustrating that losing 15M of explosives for someone to rob you for a few hundred k.

:) I put the "just like you three months ago" there for a reason. :)
Not exactly the same, but similar thoughts as yours right now.

Those buildings you focus on upgrading are actually proved to be high quality buildings at forum.
Why didn't you upgrade seafood restaurant when it just unlocked as the highest lvl10 IpH?
Why wouldnt you build loft if you can gather 100 mafia at the beginning of the game?

The true reason you feel it's working perfectly now is that you are actually control your mafia size and IpH to fit your need. You are selecting building according to their quality, but not the absolute lvl10 IpH value.

Just until recently I had a definite goal to build 2 of every cash building. It still may be the case a few months from now but now I'm leaning towards upgrading my defense buildings. I have stopped upgrading income buildings for about a week now as my night clubs represent the bulk of my income these days. I should start my second level 3 nc upgrade within 24 hours or so.
Since Plux has indicated the maximum hood size I'm now leaning towards two level 10 nc, casinos and perhaps a few more high iph non gold buildings come end game and the rest with high level defense buildings.

I get what Procsyzarc is saying about the explosives but if they're not stopping you from getting robbed then why bother spending all that money on them?? I'm sure you're talking sense and i'll understand once my Billionaire account reaches the higher levels.

However this thread was aimed towards my Avon Barksdale account which is my camper account. By the time my Avon account reaches the higher levels i'm fully expecting the so called "Shark Pool" to have disappeared because of the hundreds of thousands of players leveling up faster than i am. I'm also expecting Gree to add further levels past 200 once more players reach the higher levels therefore the explosives problem won't be that much of an issue.

Also i'm a big gold spender and Avon has started to accumulate quite a few non consumable explosives.

Thanks for your input though, it's given the Billionaire something to think about.

Shawn
I really don't get what you're saying, there are much better buildings to focus on than the seafood restaurant. As you can see it falls quite far down the list compared to some of the other buildings unlocked around that level.

I built 2 lofts as soon as my economy could afford to and they are currently at level 5.

What i'm trying to say is, instead of filling your hood with as many buildings as possible and upgrading them to around level 4 or 5 as i see so many people do. I would rather pick the best selection of buildings and focus my time on upgrading them to level 10.

Like i said, i'm not a fan of selling buildings and i'm confident my Avon account will be making enough money to be able to do the maximum number of expansions therefore space won't be a problem. You're on my mob list so feel free to check in every now and then to throw me any pointers but i'm confident my strategy will lead to me having a very high IPH.

Thanks for your input though

Procsyzarc gave very good advice.

Also, your idea above about not putting buildngs to lvl4 or 5 and getting a few to 10 is the exact opposite of the plan that gives maximum growth. If you want the fastest growth possible, most of your buildings will be around mid level and the night clubs should be the first building to lvl 10. but if you are not interested in the fastest growth, then there is no problem with what you are doing

I doubt it but hey. If you guys have enough gold i'd love to see a legit account with all buildings at max :D

Most building are not even worth the time in getting them to lvl 10, i'll probably get all of the buildings above the church to lvl 10 then focus on leveling defense buildings

Well it's not really worth it to build 2 of every building but I've seen one picture of it and another person who did it with all money buildings I think.

Now it's just a race to be the coveted owner of every level 10 buildings x2 :P

Well this certainly help decided which ones to upgrade level 10

You don't buy 2 of every building you just buy 2 of best available buildings at your level.

ShawnBB

I know this is confusing, English is not my native language.:(

I was trying to say, it is not simply this lvl10 IpH list that is working for you.
It is actually the combining of this list with its corresponding cost(or chain cost) that is helping you make decisions.

Just a simple problem, why are you still upgrading Icecream shop if there are lot more other buildings unlocked that have a higher lvl10 IpH?
In other words, how do you know that you should switch between loft and Italian restaurant,or MT and icecreamshop?
But not loft and seafood restaurant,or MT and collection agency? I'm pretty sure that by the time you unlock those buildings, your Icecream shop or italian restaurant are still not lvl10 yet.

So once again, it is the relation between cost and iph provided by the building(which can be interpreted as the quality of the building)
seafood restaurant's upgrade is more expensive than Italian restaurant, although it has a higher lvl10 IpH. It is so expensive that the IpH itself brought is not worth for the cost. That is why you choose a better quality building but with lower lvl10 iph which could be Italian restaurant to invest to lvl10 and give up on that seafood restaurant.

Still, You are selecting upgrades according to every building's quality, not who has a higher IpH at level 10.

Also when the game goes on and on like a year or two later, your base will be filled with every building that has the best quality, but not every building that has the highest lvl10 IpH.

Shawn,

I still don't think you understand how i am using this list. I have a thing for getting a pair of buildings upgraded to level 10. Once they are both at level 10 it's mission complete and onto the next ones.

I started out by focusing on the Ice Cream Parlours and the Techno Clubs because they were 'SOME' of the best buildings available to me at the time that had the highest IPH at level 10.

This gave my economy the IPH to be able to build my MT's and then my Lofts. Once 2 of each had been built i switched my focus to the MT's & Lofts and made them my number 1 priority for upgrades because they are the highest buildings on the list available to me bar the Nightclub. When i switched my attention to the Loft's and MT's i think my Ice Cream Parlours and Techno Clubs were all around level 8.

The Ice Cream Parlours and Techno Clubs then became my second priority so whilst saving for the Loft and MT upgrades i continued to upgrade the ICP's & TC's.

Both ICP's and TC's are now at level 10 which is mission complete. My lofts are currently at level 5 and my MT's are at 7 and 8.
I'm just about to unlock the Dominicans and they will become my second upgrade priority along with the Empire Theatre's because they are the highest buildings on the list that are available to me at the moment.

I am levelling up at a very slow speed which allows me to focus on certain buildings and get them 'Complete'.

The plan is to get both MT's up to level 10 and my lofts to 7 or 8 before i start saving for Nightclubs. I won't start saving for the nightclubs until i have an IPH of $100K.

Considering i started my Avon account on the 7th April 2012 and i have an IPH of $70K in under 3 months i think it's working pretty well.

Like i said i've got a thing for 'Completing' buildings by getting them upgraded to level 10. So when a building becomes a 'priority' i will focus on it until it is complete or almost complete before i switch my attention to another set of buildings.

Obviously some buildings are going to hit a point where it's just not possible to upgrade them at the current time. For example the last 2 loft upgrades are mega expensive so i will have leave them and come back to them at a later date.

This is why i found this list useful because i was able to see which buildings have the highest IPH at level 10 and focus my attention on them over all the others in my hood.

Comprende??

Lol, I really misunderstand the whole thing! Sorry for the stupid post...
Thought you level up like crazy, since you spent bounch of gold. And that's exactly why I thought you unlocking lot of higher buildings while the early ones are still not "completed".

In this situation, that's a pretty nice list to follow. With more and more buildings unlocking, are you going to complete Dominican or others to level 10 before moving on to the next building?

Looks like I'm just missing the French restaurant and credit agency builds at this point and I can just concentrate on upgrading everything from that point on. I have the rest of the high level stuff already, so thanks for the quick info on those two. Once two of each of those are built I will just build nothing but defense as long as I'm still playing the game.

Nice post.

I have not sold a building since I started playing. I like having a hood that is a sprawling metropolis rather than a few big pay out buildings.

But then I dont really care about IPH because money is the least valuable commodity in CC.

Good to see a decent discussion on here for a change.

@ Shawn,

No worries mate

I'm definitely going to get the Empire Theatre's both up to 10 because the last upgrade is only $4m. The last Dominican upgrades cost $12.6m so i'll probably leave them and come back to them later once my nightclubs are in.

The aim is to get 2 nightclubs levelled up to level 2 asap.

Over the next 10 levels i've got the Internet Companys, Comedy Clubs and Wholesale Warehouses to choose from.

@ Swingle

I've sent you some requests, would love to check your hoods out. Post on my wall when you've added me, thanks.

@ Joey Cool

I don't want to sell any buildings either hence why i'm being picky about which ones i build. I know the cash is useless but the IPH is one of my favourites.

Thanks, i can't get past the 2nd page of most threads over the last couple of weeks because they bore me or go off topic

Thanks bro, had a lesson here! Being picky in early game is the key to success:)

You are running the game in a completely economic way, not over expand or sell anything. Bravo!

when you started this game, every building under Icecream shop is not worth for a time cost actually...

Same here. Sentimental value or Diogenes syndrome, who knows?

But the question is, there are enough space (30 expansions) for all of it or i'll need to choice the better ones? It would be a pity, i have a lot of crap builds in level 10 right now.

But then I dont really care about IPH because money is the least valuable commodity in CC.

I know but i am a casual spender and don't have 500 non consumable explosives and you need builds unless you go to be like babytway. xD

That's because this is 3 months old :P

You can only expand 15x in each direction, so therefore there is a max of 30 expansions. You can go either way but it is proven to be more worth your money to expand the side which is least likely to give you a road or you can expand in a square to get the most area for your money spent.
