The most I have ever had on hand was like 33K, hard to imagine people with like 50-60K gold on hand, maybe even more. (Referring to legit players...)

None!! Ever!!! I only have tapjoy gold. I just didn't think people spent that much money into these games. To each his own. But dam that is alot!! Yeah the economy is in pretty rough shape!!! hahaha

Why is lord always viewed as the top player? Not saying that that's what you think, but whenever it comes to the strongest, the biggest spender or anything like that, his name comes up.

I don't drink, don't smoke, don't do any drugs - so the $$$ I spend is purely my entertainment money. Sometimes I get a $100 (or more) tip at a wedding or sometimes I get a last minute unexpected gig that pays out $400 or $500 and inset that aside as "play" money. Before MW I would take $300 or $400 every other weekend to the casino and play Craps or Blackjack. Difference is - when I "gambled" at the casino - I actually would bring home more money than what I took in.

Anyway - to each his own - and for those who have "disposable" income to play with, better this harmless game than drugs or alcohol :)

I've spent well over 4,000 euro I'd imagine, not so sure, I'd have to check! Most gold at one time I've had is 5k.

But again, I'm the same as McDoc, I've a good job, don't have a mortgage or any loans. I've spent considerably more on Online games over the years, though, so I do not have issues with people buying gold for MW.

Used to play a mud that required over 1k in donations alone a year just to keep up with the basic player base, where characters would go for the high to middle thousands, one guy sold his character a while back for 28,000 dollars, with certain older pieces of eq going for 400 to 1k dollars.

MW is cheap if you compare it to these, and each to their own.

I agree,i have spent my last dollar on this game until i get answers from developers.I have been getting my ass kicked, and losing some major cash lately to some guy that not only has the low casualty glitch,but pretty much admitted to me that he is a hacker when i asked him ,i reported him but i don't think much is being done about it,cause he is still kicking my ass, hehe,anyways ,sorry for going off topic :)

Now I understand why gold spenders get pissed when funzio doesnt give them proper support. If I dropped 3k into anything I better get Great service!! I didn't know they were making that kind of money off people here. I though a couple bucks here and there but not as much as you all are saying. Its amazing where our economy's are going. 40 years ago people we investing money and buying homes and what not. Now people are dropping real money on apps that are strickly for pleasure. But if it keeps you out of trouble then I support it. It also makes me feel good that my stats are so good and I don't spend any money!!
