I updated my game this morning yet it took until tonight for the new game to show...and I noticed that the leader had 26 at the time...I guess I am not getting top 50...lol

Yes, but even so there is a chance that there will be some number of "equal" people at the 500 threshold. In that case I would guess that the first ones to the number of vials. My prediction is that only gem buyers (and I an a committed 'free' player) will end up in the top 500 so I'm not bothering to get excited about the top 500 prizes.
