Using McDoc's Method, I got 9 spy glasses in 10 minutes with 13 opens.

Last event I got 9 in 3 hours and did not get the 10th after over 100 Opens. I'd say THAT is DEFINITELY less than 0%.

Still on 9 and ran out of gold, spent 2,315 for 9. :( 2 boxes, oh btw, you are correct WP, reset energy on naval dropping boxes 2/3.. Managed to get 30m cash through opens as well as 9.

Well done mcdoc..I have it also using pretty much the strategy outlined by you...spent a bit more gold, did time resets with gold. As I said on the other thread don't get excited...tried it out...same cash from raids...guess we are gonna have to wait till the event ends to see if there is any REAL bonus or just another HIDDEN bonus...Still get 1 valour on raids from the last useless trinket...here's hoping!!!

If you can get the item as fast as McDoc gets it, with as little gold as he used to get it that fast, the gold is worth it.

10th unit has the stats of something worth like 975 gold. 9th item usually worth around 150. Other 3 add up to be another 150 or so.

So he's right on the dot for being worth it gold to units. But he also got some loot (dunno if they're any use to him, they arent to me) some valor and a good chunk of cash. Plus the unique bonus, which will at some point start working.

It isn't working with giving 50% extra on raids, that's for sure.

With Russia as flag it is now my top unit so I am not that confident the 30% attack bonus for ground units is actually active or not either.....

So if you are doing it not using gold, but sleepless nights, you are better of doing that at the beginning than the end it seems. This time around I've got 6 fails of 6 medium tries. 8th fail in a row for me now. So I'll blame McDoc, sounds good to me. LOL

Manbeast let me know in a PM what you get for your next few tries. I will be funny if we match exactly up to a point even in drops and loots. It should be randon, but this is the longest I've gone in the beginning of any event I have record of. Noraml average for me is 2-3 within the first 8 tries. Only ever got on 1 in 8 and that was the 1st briefcase event.

In the first 4-5 events, I always got an item in the first attempt, but in the last 4-5 (including this one) I haven't. Roughly since I won a 10th item. I doubt that makes a difference, just interesting coincidence. I'd guess the odds are near 50%. Have 2 items, another @%$@ supply frigate, and 7 or 8 sorrys.

ETA: should have said something sooner, my next 2 opens have been items. :)

iv had 7 parts so far out of 10 attempts, all the rest have been sorrys, and all have been with cash opens which is 33,000 at my current level. my best start to an event yet! shame im going away tomorrow and wont be able to see the event through
