I think so. I've asked my allies about my stats, and they don't see what I do. I can't imagine that rivals would have access to your true stats if your own allies don't...

Guys,

explain me something, which ruined my feeling that I understand how the game works.

Below you can see my stats - how I see them - with every single B52 added to my inventory. The thing is that my defense goes down with every B52 bought. This somehow shows that B52 is replacing stronger unit in the inventory.

My own spreadsheet shows that I have enough defensive units to cover/leave out B52 from defensive battles. So what the hell is wrong here and how I can be sure that my B52 is not defending? Instead of B52 I have sea scouts (same 17 defensive value, but I am UK + Naval, while I don't have air boost building at all) and hovercrafts (16, but UK flag).

It looks like your B-52 are replacing the hoovercrafts in defense. This means your units are selected without boost at all.
Perhaps it is only in static mode or the boosts are invisible in your profile screen. Giving you the wrong info.
I will only be guessing if the info you see is actually the values that are used when attacking or defensing.
Perhaps the boosts are activated in combat mode or your B-52 are really replacing those hoovercrafts.

I have one. That's from the first LE set bonus. It was the common. Now where the + 1 respect bonus comes from...has to be an error gree did. I just checked mine, mine shows the same, and we don't even earn " respect " in modern war. Respect is for CC.

It doesn't look like a mistake either, there's supposedly 3 other items that are supposed to carry this +1 Respect (errrm Valor) from Raids. Doubt it works though since the Satellite Smasher has been proven ineffective.

I want to get enough battle points to allow me to unlock the elite water cruiser, my plan is using army mainly of fighter jets, rangers and inflatables (I call it disposable army as its all easily replaced). I'm level 116 I think and have 200k valor, only 26 stamina, UK nation. I plan to just keep hitting players with low defence and getting many small amounts of battle points with hopefully minimal loss.

Other option Is hitting stronger enemies fir more cattle points but with more of a loss in units, risk of losing battles/raids and risk of revenge. Help and advice is very welcome, stats can be given on request. Also only 23 mine launchers, stopped replacing them till I get the water cruisers and become more comfortable position.

On rival list on iPhone there is a tab on that page saying "ranking" which battle points rank you up for unit unlocks and rewards which you need lots of battle points for each level. Rewards only at rank up if that make sense?

Not until the owner of the base clicks( repairs ) that building. Once they repair it, then you still have to wit for the X amount of time for the collection.

However, I have never seen an icon over my Money buildings even though its obvious they've been raided. Also, I've visited opponents via Revenge - sometimes multiple times a day - but have never seen a previously raided Money building ready to be raided again. Are you saying a player has to repair a Money building in order for it to be raided again?

Yes. If the building doesn't get repaired. Money can't build back up and be collected.

In the case of money buildings, collecting after the raid is the same thing as repairing the building. A player has to collect or repair a building before it can be raided again. If it is a money building, the building has to be ready to collect again before it can be raided again.

I know someone worked out a spreadsheet , not sure who. But basically,you'll get more battle points by attacking someone with attack- defense near yours. Or higher. Ie. if I attack someone with say 20,000 less in stats, ill probably only get like 40 BP. If I attack someone with stats near mine or higher and If I win, I could end up with 160 BP. But you won't gain nothing if you lose so choose carefully.

No one besides the programmers know the exact formula, but in simple terms it's based on the relative strength between you and your rival, along with the rival's rank. The weaker the opponent, the less BPs received, and the higher the rank of the opponent, the more BPs are received; vice versa for both.

So if you have 2 rivals of equal strength, but one is a private and one is a major. The major rank will hand out a little more BPs.

There is approx 2 days left on the crate event in MW. So it stands to reason there would be a Boss event after that within a couple days. I hope so anyway, I have played two of them in MW now and would be a sad day if they get rid of them.

MW 3.0 doesn't look like it will be released by the time this box event ends. If GREE doesn't hold an event such as a boss one they are losing out on potential gold sales. I'd say without a doubt we'll see another one soon.

And to add to what the Dr. said, MW 3 events won't be an all time thing, so it stands to reason that in the spirit of gold sales that there will still be Boss events in the foreseeable future(as I keep my fingers crossed lol).

Had trouble with photo bucket,think the update messed up.

As usual after being attacked I went to look at my rivals stats,at that time I had just awoke & missed a few point they had extra on me,at first it looked like there attack was lower than mine due to being half awake.
So I couldn't figure,ESP as my deff is ussaly high enough for someone with higher stats not to win.

Out of curiosity I attacked back & lost now heres what I don't understand at all,during the fight I lost 40bp
I've never lost more than 10bp I only ussaly win 3-5 & never lose that much bp in one attack.

That woke me up enough to look more,I relised they had a few more points in attack than I first thought.
My attacker has a large gold army.
Would that account for such a heavy bp loss?

Probably because if you had won you'd be awarded a ton more BP than your avg opponent. So the stronger they are, the more BP you will lose if you lose the battle.

finally got through most of this thread and I haven't seen the composites factory touched on much. If I were only to get around 300 gold through tapjoy, I would think the composite to be a must have. Correct? I think the other 50 would go to changing nations to Britain. I am currently Germany. Thanks for any info.

The composites is a must. Best building in the game. And the other 50. If you want to change flags, go with what your heavy with. Sea,air,etc....

Most definitely, composite is arguably the best gold purchase in the game. And the nation boost depends on your current and future army make-up. If you have a ton of sea units, or plan on purchasing a lot of them, then definitely go with UK. But just base it on whichever will give you the highest boost for your plans.

not really heavy in anything but defense. I have been playing for a year, mostly an afterthought to cc. Until recently I was opperating under the assumption that you used all categories of units in attack and defense like in cc. Probably would have saved a couple of months of upgrading and $50 mil at least. Just unlocked level 8 airbase and I am now going to get drydocks to 8. Do you know why the best units unlock at 8 for the airbase and drydocks? Is there any advantage to taking them to ten? Has anyone done it? I would check, but I have started my next upgrade. Thank you again for keeping up with the thread and the info.

For air. Best are the b52s and stealth bombers. So should max out your buildings to get to them. As for Sea. The aircraft carrier is the best , I don't think you even need to max out your sea to get to it. I haven't upgraded past it. No need to. Unless you need the further units for doing bosses or something.

For UK flags the railgun destroyer is the best offensive cash unit. You'd need a stupidly high IPH to be buying them in bulk, though.

I'm not good at forcing out the percentage difference from raw to boost. So send me an ally request if we aren't already allies. Let me know what your in game name is . Ill go to your base and let you know what your raw stats are, that way you'll know how much boost you got. Also, if you feel like your boost isn't alot... You'll really notice it when you get higher in stats. My def raw I think is somewheres around 60k . With my boost , I'm at 84k

These collect 10 events are mainly luck. If its your time to win, it's your time. I know the feeling. I have spent thousands of gold on a single event and not win the 10th. I have also spent 60 gold on an event and Did win the 10th so like I said, it's mainly luck.
As for scratchers , every day you'll get one. Or you can go into the store and buy a scratcher. Word of advice, don't waste gold on scratchers, or collect 10 events.

player X becomes "too weak to battle" at some point, though I'm not sure at what point that is..if he's attacked that many times in your example, he won't have much to give monetarily anyway.

It varies by lvl. Low level players lil under 50 is only around 10 hits. Where I'm at lvl 118ish it's about 20 hits. High level players is more like 25 hits.

The syllable Q& A thread I think just keeps directing people to the in game FAQ . So hard to say for sure if it doesn't say exactly in there. However , from what I've heard so far, when someone attacks your faction, they'll need to get past your fortifications first . But no ones really going to know for sure until the battling is released and people see for themselves.

Today in the morning while checking the new features my mw crashed. From that time one i can not restart it. When i hit the mw icon on my ipad it just loads for 3 seconds and returns me back to the original ipad screen. I tried to restart my ipad but i have the same issue goin on. So, I was doing a pvp attack on a player who had stats, say,15-20% lower than mine and I lost six attacks in a row. Now grandma gilgamesh didn't raise a complete idiot. So I cut and ran. I checked his units, he had a almost 100% gold army. Question is, how did he win with much lower stats?

Does he have a lvl 10 composites hidden on his base somewhere, his boost buildings could be generating alot of boost , he could have them invisible boost units. So his defense might be alot stronger than you think. Add in skill points, if he has high skill points, that too helps.

Ie, my defense. Raw, and what everyone else sees is somewheres in the mid 60ks. My actual defense is 97k.. So that can be quite a suprise to someone who can only beat a 60 k def. and doesn't realize the boost.

You need to increase your attack stats. The higher your attack is, the easier it'll be to beat a boss. Don't think you'll be able to beat all the bosses free, only way to beat all bosses is with gold. Just beat as many as you can.

Having a weird issue with my Sam missles. If I go to upgrade a SM from lvl 3 to lvl 4 . It'll show it'll take it to 46. My current lvl 4 SMs show there at 38. And if I go to upgrade my lvl4s to lvl 5 . It'll show they are 45 ... So I'm getting 3 different numbers

Oceanz, the concrete blocks are part of the latest faction update.if you haven't updated yet, do it. The concrete blocks are used for your faction( If your in one ). They help build up your factions fortifications. If your sitting their asking yourself what are factions.. Two things you can do. Either look in the in game help section and read the FAQS. Update your game. OR if your playing on an android device, the faction update hasn't been made available to android devices yet. But in the meantime, you'll still be able to collect concrete blocks. And when you do eventually get it for android, the amount of blocks you have recieved over time,will show up.

If you are going to buy gold buildings, the first one you should buy is the composites factory. I'm not sure whether it's available to you yet, at level 6? It boosts your defence. well worth the 250 gold

Save your valor, they will die quickly.

The next day my upgrade to said building finished. So, I went back to said player and checked their stats, relativly the same stats. And gee I still lost the same troops. So why not hit them 6 times for an average?! So I upgraded the blasted building again and went back to the same player and his stats had lowered slightly (30pts). Gee whillackers.. I lost the same amount of troops but higher priced ones. So I hit them six times. No change in the average loss, it was exactly the same.

Casualty reduction items have always been in question. The medical building has been deemed pretty much useless. I have that ugraded a lil, two units that add an additional 40% , plus a unit that adds 2% . So I have currently 46% casualty reduction. .. Or so they say,lol.

Mine is probably worse. I lost my game on android on reinstall and had it replaced with a new unplayed one. Have sent seven request over the last week to have it returned, even tried a couple on the contact us on the forum. No response at all. I am level 21 and have not lost in over 2 months against constant attackers. Hate to see that end because I could not defend myself. Plus all the lost collected income and upgrade time. It looks to me as if you just surrounded a small building with a bunch of trees. Other players don't see the trees because on IOS devices, all decorations don't show... Only android players see decorations.

in the original picture it does look like those buildings are just surrounded by trees.. It's curious that you say you're playing on an ipad but can see enemy's decorations/tree buildings, most of us play on idevices and cant see enemy decorations.. Also, you might want to remove your name from your screen shot you just posted, especially when confronting long standing helpful forum members..

they are only helpful if your in a faction. if you dont see anything about a faction ingame. then your on an android device. gree hasnt released an update with factions for android yet. in the meantime, you can collect concrete ,and whenevr they give the update, and you end up in a faction, youll see how much concrete youve collected over time.

Can only get bricks from pvp attacking. Not raiding. And it's a hit or miss . You can go through 90 hits and not get one. Then you an 3 hits and get a couple. Horrible drop rate on them.

I don't know how much of a difference it'll be between an iPhone and an iPad, but think of this. It's probably along the same lines as any other apps you've installed on your phone. Give them a peek into your privacy or something

TapJoy question -- trying to get some of that free gold from tapjoy but when I went to install tapjoy it said it would make changes to the "general settings" of my iPhone. What is that? Will it disrupt my iPhone??

I allowed it to make the changes and nothing bad has happened.. I have been using tapjoy for awhile now. Recently though tapjoy has been restricted by apple and isn't a good source a free gold anymore.

When you sell a building, do you get 50% of what you payed INCLUDING what you spent on upgrades? Or is it just 50% of the original unit cost?

That's what I figured. I reported him. Originally, he sent me a message with his ID number, saying add me or I will attack. I checked out his stats, and saw that I could take him. He had 15 million in unprotected cash. His vault was nothing, so I took him for about 10 million in the next few days. He attacked my base a few times but got nothing to speak of. So now all of a sudden he went from about 1000 att/def to 9000 in a day, went up 20 levels so he could get higher buildings, and went from a few low level buildings to building all the high level buildings at the same time. Right now he is building 2 nanotech factories, a nuclear powerplant, and a fortified bunker simultaneously. If anyone wants to check him out, he is General Joe, level 64, ID 951 604 898.

Hassle, I been pvping like crazy to come up with the cash. I finally got one. I got about 70+ mill pvping in a day,lol my eyes hurt. If your afraid of losing your opportunity of getting one, then it can't hurt too much if you do sell a nano ( as long as its not upgraded ) .because you can always get another. But try and get as much as you can out of pvp first.

One of mine ingame friends asked me regarding gold bonus. I know only that you are supposed to buy 5 vaults of gold within one month. Then what? You must send ticket of support asking for what? And finally - what is this bonus exactly about? Extra gold?

Yes you send in a ticket, within the same month the purchase was made. If you purchase 5 vaults of gold, you get an extra 3000, I think it's that much anyways. If you purchase 10 vaults, you get a greater bonus of gold, not sure what it is. If you only purchase 9, you still only get the 2 extra vaults. You need to reach certain levels of purchases. Also I remember reading, if you spend enough you can get one of the previous event bonus units.

Has anyone complained about the fact that the Typhoon Class Destroyer (+20% valor bonus) does not work. I haven't noticed until now, since I've been camping. I've been attacking since factions started and noticed no bonus. If they round down, then valor points 1,2,3 and 4 are possible but 5 would round to 6. If they round up, some of the other numbers would not be possible. I have earned all 1,2,3,4 and 5 valor points. I check my totals, not just as I collect.
Have they offered compensation or are they "working on it"
Can someone let me know, I think I'm going to send a ticket in.

Not sure what you mean. Lets say for instance you have a composites at lvl 4, upgrading to lvl 5. While its upgrading, it's still putting out the lvl 4 boost.

I was attacked by a rival not that much stronger than me. Each time he won he got over $1 million of my $$. When I attack I barely get any $$ when I win plus even when opponent is weaker I lose units and opponent hardly loses anything.

The highest a person can get PER attack is 300k. If he got over a million, that was the accumulation of multiple attacks. And the reason why he got soo much is because you must of had alot of cash UNVAULTED. Any unvaulted cash can be taken from rivals, so make sure you vault your money. If you attack and don't get much money,then it's because they don't have much unvaulted cash.

Thnx for the reply. I was attacked 7 times consecutive and lost $1.1 million, $2.3 million, $225k, and $600k. I won $30k twice and $60k. The player is Nina (US).

I did, and Modern War does not show up in my app list. I am on Android and on tap joy does show my phone as being the correct phone I am using. I wonder if I use TB to back up the game data, uninstall and reload my save if it will work. Other wise i will just use the in game offers as there most likely the same.

My buddy on an Android said he goes to buy gold, clicks free gold, then a screen pops up and says "link tap joy" that is what i dont get. From the replys is sounds like at some point it will pop up. its just random..

I got it working, my phone is rooted and adblock is installed, my computer has adblock on it. Disable both and it works. Enable and it doesnt work. watch out here i come

Another I notice that one of my ally is showned on the raid/att list is that how it support to be no if you are ally ouyr alliance won't show up on the att list ?

It tells you how many units you lost. If you scroll down to the bottom of your top 45 units it will show you what unit you lost. Hope this helps and I understood you perfectly!

At least the important allies. Lol. I've tried to attack and raid an ally just to see what would happen, and each time for me it says player is too weak. So I didn't think you could actually attack your ally in the rivals but someone earlier said they raided an ally.

I know this was discussed already - but cant find the thread about it... what does other players/allies see in terms of stats, do they see your raw stats or they see the boosted stats (building boost, composite factory, country boost)? And when you look at your stats do you ses boosted stats you see take into account all building boost, composite factory, country boost?
