So I was pretty bored and did a little re-decorating and thought I'd start up a post just to see what other people's kingdoms look like. I've seen a couple of screenshots in these threads but thought some of you guys need to do some showing off

I will try and post mine but it'll take a few screen shots so I'll get round to it later

Anyone want to get the ball rolling?.....

Yep. You may have noticed I have a lot of space to spare. :rolleyes:

Vitrus yours is pretty good but I have to say Shawn's is epic!! My OCD side is impressed. Those 'stupid' decorations look awesome too....is April 19th when you started?

I was going to submit photos from my phone, but no luck. :(
So far, these look nice! And good on all that space! You'll need it all by level 50 (last non-purchased building, beasts), with all the defense buildings and money buildings to come. I stopped with just a little excess in case new buildings come out. :)

lol,Ya I started on that day and seeing nasty kingdoms everywhere, so decided to make some move and counted the space each building take. Guess I'm having OCD as well, my crime city account is running an amazing hood just like KA.

Futon:),through my 6 months' modern war experience(every 8h+ building was perfectly under defense tower range), it is absolutely pointless for doing that and will only make the kingdom ugly due to the different building size.

Why thank you. I tried to keep all the buildings with the same collection times grouped together. Then put everything else wherever it would fight. Now I just have to find an orderly way of moving my stables closer to my shipyards :p

It's already a little bit long now. So I PS it to merge multi-picture togther.

That's what I've done too gone all the way from one end to the other. Last expansion cost 65k or something

I'm having trouble staying within the file size limitations... I took a few screenshots with my iphone, sent the pictures to my computer as PNG files (there's no way to change this as far as I know), converted the pictures to jpeg, but I can't get within the 19kb file size without the picture looking like minecraft (very bad quality). Despite the fact that the picture itself doesn't look too clear, I tried to upload it anyway; when I [I]do[I] manage to satisfy the specifications, I try to upload the file, but then it is classified as an "invalid file." I used 'inspect element' after right-clicking the red exclamation mark and the highlighted area causing the problem says something about the pixels (something like 15 x 15 and it needing to be 16 x 16 - what that means...? - I don't know.

Any suggestions?

I usually upload my pics to tinypic.com. It's free and doesn't require any sort of registration. They also offer different resizing options when uploading pics as well. Hope this helps.

Yeah I think if you use tinyshack or similar (photobucket, imageshack etc) you can use pretty much any image and post it in these forums...give it a try

I didn't know there were websites that convert files for me; I thought it had to be done manually. Thanks for the tip. I was able to convert the image easily enough, but I'm still getting the "invalid file' message, lol. The strange thing is that I was able to upload a profile pic easily enough...

Where do you get that message? When you're posting an image on here, select the upload image icon and there will be a check box. I can't remember what it says but uncheck it and try that. That check box had me confused for a little while when I first posted

lol, apparently I can't upload it after converting it to jpeg. Problem is: png files use up a lot of memory. So I minimized it enough so that the file size is small enough. Thanks for answering my question, but the forum is just being difficult. As a tanks for your help, here is the image of part of my kingdom for the lulz. Don't squint too much; you will hurt your eyes.

It shows up after I click on 'upload file' on the manage attachments page. This seems to happen only when I convert the file from its original (.png). I have converted the file myself and I have used the files created by file converters on the web, but nothing seems to work.

This is how I (finally) did it:
1) Downloaded the free photobucket application and signed up
2) Uploaded the pictures from my iphone 'photos' (with the maximum setting of 320x320)
3) Logged in though my computer
4) Opened up advanced editor and saved it (file -> save 'or' Ctrl +s)
5) Step 4 will open a window where you can adjust the quality so that the picture is within the file size limit of the forums and then save.
6) Scroll over the new, copied images in the album and click on the IMG code (it will automatically copy when you click on it)
7) Paste the code(s) in the text box of the post!
