How many Attacks aagainst rivals?

I just went 19-0 with someone who hit my news feed. I only kept attacking because he had money on him. I thought you could only successfully attack someone 10 times before they became too weak to battle.
I'm level 44, he's 46.
Am I wrong, or was this just a freak accident?

I thought it depended on level. I'm level 116 and I can go 20+ fights before I get the 'Too weak to battle' message. Maybe you just got lucky but idk

I am level 120 and can go 21 times against some people then it gives me that issue. I noticed it does go up the higher your rank.

pretty sure I've been capped at 10 or less. Thanks for your feedback, glad to know it does increase as I level up.

It used to depend on level and the cap was 10 for a while. So a low level could hit someone like 5-8 times. Then after about level 60 or so you could hit up to 10 times.

Then they changed it for a bit so that it still progressed with level but there was no cap. Could hit a level 120 around 20 times, and could hit level 150s like 25 times or so.

Now it just seems everyone can hit 20 times no matter the level.

Max for everyone atm is 20. Previously when it depended on level it did not depend on your level, it depended on your opponents. You could hit a level 200 more than you could hit a level 100.
