Buildings getting robbed by low attack??????

The same person keeps robbing my buildings his attack is only 15k and my defense is almost 30k I don't get it he shouldn't be able to rob me. Do I have to put defense buildings rite next to the ones hes robbing?? Can someone explain??

First off, the defense buildings right next to the money buildings only works in MW. Secondly what level are you at? I'm at level 101 and I've tried to rob people with twice as much defense as my attack and failed.

No it makes no difference where d buildings are. Just so u know d buildings only give half of there stated defense. Have someone attack u and tell u what your true d is. I have 77k tru d and people with 40k attack can rob me but it just takes them several try's. Hope my response helped

When you are robbed your mafia item defense is halved. If you have 30K defense and it is all made up of items then when you are getting robbed it is 15K defense. Throw in his attack skill points and the random factor and you can see how he is beating you. You can keep trying to build defense buildings to help out against robs and you can see threads on the potential impact of defense buildings in the best of the best guides.

That is how the game rob mechanics were explained early on in the game by CCM. You can think it is "retarded" all you want but that is how it works.
