I'm assuming odds of winning are unpredictable as the total number of transactions can't be predicted.

If they fixed the low cas glitch I'd be happy, you can plan for everything else cept someone attacking you at night and killing 5 or 6 high valor units and 2-3m in cash units, with them losing 50% of the attacks and no or little units.

funzio are good in some ways like correcting acidental purchases ect but the running of some tournaments is poor ,hopefully the running of things will get better though as they have just started doing them , should have been run well from start though. there are issues with glitching/cheating as you can see people hacking money and gold on utube ect and there is people hiding builing level numbers ect , i am sure funzio would like to stop that side of things as they are lossing money and wouldn't like cheaters , it is basically stealing to hack . high casulties and rival lists at high end are main things people are not happy with , i can't comment on the high end rival lists as i am not up there , the high casulties issue seems like it needs adjusting but maybe we are just playing the wrong way i don't know .

i only use tapjoy gold so doesn't affect me , i didn't enter the attack tournament either as didn't want to rank up that quick and couldn't take the casulties ,didn't think i would have a chance on that one with the gold players anyway.
i wouldn't buy gold just for the chance to double it but if you are buying gold anyway could be a good bonus if you win . i wonder what tournaments will be comming up next. i will enter if they suite me ,i love the special events , and can't wait to see what the units for the total items collected in all events will be , could be that you can purchace one of the special events units that you didn't win , that would be good .

But on the other hand, I also think that the gold sales (revenue) for Funzio has gone down since the ban, and GREE is trying to counter that with this chance to double your purchase

I think that best chances of getting the extra was yesterday, since the sale started in the afternoon, and probably not many people had made purchases, and that is why they implemented the Double currency (if you look at CCM post, he posted at 10:39pm), so those who bought yesterday have very good chances of getting the extra gold

I think that their gold sales have taken at least 15% reduction and quarter end is coming so they need to increase their revenue to show good financials, lol

Not just this quote but all winging and whining!

1- If you spend money you already made the decision to lose it so shut up with the complaining if you chose to use the gold or gems to gamble! instead of just buying items like the majority of us.

2- If you then elect to use gold/gems to finish off buildings, complete land expansions then you're truly crazy in my books because each of these complete on their own for anyone else who just waits and if you were nuts enough to really not think through the reality of blowing hundreds of dollars to finish off buildings quickly for a prize you could have got just 'selecting' a few gold/gem units then your a fool who deserves it not one who has any right to carry on about it.

3- If you decide that having a go at using gold/gems to get that elusive item in an event then join the queue at the local gamblers anonymous who complain the casino steals all their money... but they went there and chose to take random chances with real cash. This is no different FUNZIO/GREE have never ever proclaimed you will have any greater chance to get the item by using money. All it offers for those who wish to take a gamble... see that word 'gamble'... is guaranteeing they will get a random prize, only of which one very small chance is the 10th item piece.

4- This chance to double up simply suits those who already make calls to buy gold/gems anyway like me. I use it for crates and LE items only to boost my game, so since I'm spending anyway... and there's a chance I could get extra AND while it's cheap it DOES encourage me to spend it now not next month, that's all... I'm not a gambler deluding myself... it's a bonus for doing what I normally do anyway. DON'T be an idiot and buy gold and gems you don't want to try and win double... 100 a day out of how many thousands of transactions a day? What stupid people spend deliberately on something they don't want JUST to try for the gamble side of things. You'd have to be a moron to think like that.

Some of you have a very unrealistic concept of what it means to buy gold and gems. Most buyers seem content to use it to get items they chose... some are gamblers and mate, any gambler that whinges when they don't win can go **** themselves for their own stupidity!

I am so irate at all the dis and attacks at this game over 'gambling' and I'd love to see you all get up in the face of the casinos and demand that you should have been given guarantees to win and guarantees to get what you want on a random chance. You'd be laughed at and scorned by everyone for the idiots you are.

Arrrgghh just let those of us who use money to buy items read and partake in these forums without the grief you gamblers all feel you need to throw around at your own idiocy! It's a bloody game! Don't waste money YOU can't afford! Chose wisely instead of gambling...

Thanks Strick, natural blonde, I actually try to dye my hair browner now but colour doesn't stick well to blonde. My boys are white blond (Younger two) and Chloe now 10 is turning pale brown... One of the things that bother me most with events,isn't soo much the hiccups in glitches,but the lack of a final leaderboard. Without a final leaderboard,we the players ( the ones that don't win ) which probably make up a high percentage are left to think well,who even won. Did anyone actually win or was it just a scheme to get up to spend money. My example is the double currency event. With all the people doing the gold ban, I would figure there would have been at least 1 forumite to win double currency. It leaves me to believe the event is being left to the waistside and being forgotten. With the only explanation were given is, they should of been out by today. And it makes me feel like no one even got it.

I looked at cc and KA as well, I combed throu their currency threads and haven't come across a winner their either... A person can't help but feel like they got scammed on this. I think if anything, there should be plenty of forum winners. In the forums,people discuss buying gold,the strategy in what to buy with their gold and brag about their gold. The player that is serious enough to actually BUY gold , is generally serious enough in my mind,to also be a forum member. Their marketing is great , the ethics...questionable

It's based on the individual purchase. So you'd just get one doubled if only one was chosen. Think of each purchase as another card that went into the hat.

No what's unfair is not giving the event reward to someone with a 400k IPH just because you missed an arbitrary deadline that passed before the day the reward was originally promised. I was very polite in my letter and I laid out the many failures of the event in the letter to support. Their answer was "oh well, you missed the deadline". I replied again and pretty much received the same response.

I have worked tech support and customer service roles in the past as well so I know to be polite. When you (or your company) screw up, you admit it and do whatever is reasonable to make the paying customer happy, especially when they have hard evidence that backs up why they are dissatisfied. I don't think it was unreasonable for me to expect to get the event reward and Funzio really loses nothing by giving me that. By stonewalling me and others who patiently waited for the event reward, they just create ill will and I am much much less likely to ever spend a dime on this game again. I'll admit I have never been a heavy gold spender, but that shouldn't matter.

Sir what every enlisted military guy calls an officer, we don't say Captain, lieutenant, colonel ....we say sir in the enlisted ranks is different they refer to their higher ups by the respective rank... Gunnery Sergeant, First Sergeant l, Sergeant Major...

Hope that makes sense for you maybe the majority of these "sir" got used to peole calling them that in their military days or maybe they know about it.

Well, I've been an officer a long time ago (duty cycle with dutch navy), and they had to call me "meneer", which translates to sir. So thought that was cool and unique and funny.
