This Forum is not a better place anymore

I've noticed how things changed around here lately. A lot of members that were offering constructive thoughts and ideas, as well as viable conversations are gone. The remaining members do keep posts to a minimum (mnju is probably an exception and even then..). Forum gets flooded with nonsense post from various ..^$... eh.. people that offer 0 value to community.

All I do find useful here are comments from Mark, occasional threads and discussions about events.
That's just probably me, but these are my thoughts. If this trend will continue I probably will stop visiting this place that often. Too bad as I do like a lot of new people input on this game and other topics.

I think part of the issue is, there is nothing new to "discover" or figure out anymore.

The forum changed as the game changed. There are occasional discussions that discuss the game mechanics but since our "forefathers" analyzed the game to death in its first few months there is little left to discover. All that is left to discuss how your game is going, current event progress, or all the negativity.

CCMark, if you read this I hope you get it! The casino aspect of the game is getting to be too much. We do love a quick jump in stats but, for a game that is built for the long haul and by your words needs to be balanced what are Funzio-gree doing about it. Free players are wanting! We Need more Strategy content not another lottery.

YES! GODAMIT!!! GET YOUR ATTACK UP!

That way you can ROB for money.... seriously... not joking my friend!!! At level 50+ everyone has higher end buildings and every time you rob them it's min of 1000 bucks with as much as 30k... I constantly rob people for more money than my hood is worth... and I'm making a modest 3XK p/h...

30 stamina spent on someones hood = AT LEAST 30k... (on a lousy hood)

I haven't said that all posts are pointless. It's just a lot of garbage outthere even if they do control spamming now.

I would venture to guess that a lot of the veteran's have learned from experience that whenever we talk about cool things we like about the game, those things get nerfed. Most of the "cool things we like" are free and don't create any revenue for "the company" whatsoever, so when they see that too many people know about the cool free stuff, they take it away.

So all that's left is to point out/talk about/complain about the stuff we don't like. "They" obviously use their forum to see what the general community buzz is at any given time, but they only take action against free stuff and then turn around and try selling us something new. I can understand why they want their game to make them a few bucks, but they give the impression that nothing is ever enough and if it's free it only lasts until it becomes over popularized. The exception to that is the scratchers, but even those don't get a full exemption because many of the prizes are garbage, even for free. It would make too much sense to have scratcher tiers the same as event loot though, because that would eliminate the possibility of getting "money for nothing".

The first thread (started by you) is about your personal hood so to all of us I'd say it is pointless. Especially for us who have our lofts and MTs upgraded as high as we want already (which is what you're asking about). And if you looked through the forums you'd find 100 threads asking the same exact thing. the second one is just pictures of scratcher prizes asking which one we'd want.

I dont mind the threads but there's nothing new being learned which is why the forums turning so dull. You can only talk about the same things so many times...

Agreed.

Lol, I agree with that but what I really meant was Funzio gets money for nothing when they sell people gold and then people spend the gold but get nothing for it. That gives people two options, buy more gold (give Funzio more money because the last time you gave them money you got nothing for it), or never buy gold again.

I was dumb enough to test the waters purchased 240 gold on sale
had a little more then 100 gold from previous purchase
used 300 even on scratchers to come away with 2 scorpian knifes and 1 Flex armor
majority was 250rp or 10k (both useless to me) today for free i got Despoiler (CONsolation prize)

Pretty much done with the game and can honestly say i will never drop another penny on it.

Lol, I agree with that but what I really meant was Funzio gets money for nothing when they sell people gold and then people spend the gold but get nothing for it. That gives people two options, buy more gold (give Funzio more money because the last time you gave them money you got nothing for it), or never buy gold again.

This one is painful. I'm still struggling with that. Said to myself that i won't use anymore gold on events and still trying to work out a trategy for next one that involves spending it :)
Recently got 8 commons and 1 uncommon out of 9 crates.. That is almost nothing for something.
