WAS the VIP system removed during the last update?

Anyone else not see the VIP system? Used to be able to be added to the system for an hour for 15 gold.

mine is still there... glad for that as i use it all the time.

I can see it on the regular version of the game, but not the HD version while playing on an ipad 2.

When I click on the VIP tab the two top buttons Invite VIPs and Get VIP Status are missing.

Here is what the regular Crime City looks like:

I've submitted ticket # 129444 for the problem. I noticed it because I wanted to add more mafia and even though I have requests it's not letting me. Anyone else not able to add mafia from their request queue? I can't add from either version of the game.

Yep, my VIP feature is broken too. This recent update was a pretty big downgrade to the HD version. More nerfed graphics (version 2.3HD is the first time those stupid brown loot bags are dropping in HD rather than a picture of the loot or event box that dropped), the decorations are still only visible in your own hood, the mafia request list is still unscrollable, now this is broken too.

At least they are consistent. Every update with "bug fixes" either introduces new bugs or doesn't come close to fixing all the existing bugs. Or both, as appears to be the case here. I'm starting to think the only nice thing about the HD version is the larger menus/menu buttons. Other than that, CCHD is not better than CC universal in any way. And in the app store CCHD claims to have "HD exclusive areas, buildings, and much more". Other than all the sh!t bugs that aren't present in CC universal, has anyone actually noticed anything that is HD exclusive? I haven't.

I hate the large menus, my eyes aren't bad enough to strain a foot away from the device. But as said, the non-HD version is vastly superior, and it's Funzio's main focus. Just use that.
