Best use of respect?

Just started a few weeks ago, so I am sure this has been discussed before...sorry for the redundancy. I've been debating what to do with the respect...what is the consensus out there? It looks like there are better respect items (based on stats) in a guns, armor and melee, but I am wondering if I am better buying the Yamaha race bike as they're the best non-gold vehicles in the store...and vehicle loot is pretty weak. Also, not sure if expect more high respect items to be released and I should be saving it.

By all means hold off as long as you can. If you expect to play this game for awhile the end game RP items are worth waiting for. Cars are hardest to fill out early but check out spreadsheets depending on your level their are some worth farming.

Odie ...the excelero is the best respect vehicle. It does to unlock until level 115 or so. 31 attack and I think 17 defense. While many buy the bikes, mine are no longer used. Chain whips and exceleros are great.

Thanks for the heads up guys...my store doesn't show any respect vehicles over the race bike and the highest cost vehicle overall looks like a stretch limo that unlocks around level 77 I think...odd. Chain whip looks sweet though.

I will take a look at the speeadsheets to see what I can farm some decent cars. I just hadn't found many yet on the maps I've worked through. Sounds like banking the respect is the way to go.

The earliest top tier respect item to unlock is Chain Whip and the best advice is to buy those because they're the most end-game equipment you can get at lower down levels. Ignore the comments about Exceleros, you won't be hitting level 115 any time soon.

Save respect if you can, fill in holes with in game cash as I explain down below.

Not sure what your iph is but even if buy 69 camaro 5/4 it is better then having no vehicles at all.

I see so many players that are short 100 to 150 vehicles at level 98. They all think they will get 500 excelero at level 115 which is just not going to happen.

Say you are short buy 100.

That 69 camero is going to give you 500 / 400

Yes it will be replaced down the road but you just got a decent jump in stats. Buy 1 or 2 each time your 12/24 hour buildings pay out. Don't buy all 100 at a time so it doesn't hurt other parts of your game.

NVGs and Chain Whips for now. Then when RPGs and Exceleros unlock get those.

Definitely 1000 steel toed boots. You can't kick ass all day without steel toed boots because your feet get sore. You'll want one for each foot for 500 mafia eventually.

Unless you plan on spending for a lot of gold, Night Vision Binoculars will still be useful for you deep into the game. There aren't a lot of armor items with more than its 16 attack points. With 80 or so mafia, I'd look to get 80 or so of them.

Lol...some good suff here folks. I am level 40 with 80ish mafia...and yeah I am short about 30-40 vehicles which is why I was thinking about buying some cars to fill the gaps. I appreciate the feedback though...and I already own heart boxers anyway.
