Why is it when I rob a pirate tavern I get 2x 22,000 yet when mine is robbed 60,000 is robbed and I only get 40,000?

Funzio/Gree takes a 20% tax on robberies to pay their employees :P

So the robber gets 40% of your money then you collect only 40% of the remaining money that wasn't robbed. The rest goes somewhere, we don't know. Probably to the beta testers or something xD

If someone attacks you when you have cash on hand they can get 10% per hit (max. $30k/hit), which ends up being something close to 60% of your cash on hand if they beat you up 10 times.

So you lose ~60% of your cash on hand when attacked (or $300k, whichever is less), and you lose 60% from a robbed building. Not too difficult to see the reasoning behind that.
