View Full Version : Rivals Profile - What do you look for?

If you don't attack blindly, and you bother to check on a rivals profile, what exactly do you look for?

The problem is I'm not sure what's the best combination of stats to look for to keep my unit losses down. I win every fight I start (except for those accidental hits without first checking), but it's the loss of units that I'm trying to reduce. Only thing I've tried that mostly helps, is to hit someone with around one third my total unit numbers. They're not easy to find though, and usually not worth hitting.
I mostly raid or attack just for cash.

I'm valor farming atm so what i do is

Select based on Rank (private & specialist) -> 500 allies above -> 700 units below, under10k def -> ATTACK!

Edit: results= low/zero casualties

I only attack if they have over $5 mil, otherwise I stick to raiding good items. I look for something good, and if I find it, I'll check stats. If there defense is under mine, I go for it. I don't look at inventory, and I don't knock out boost or comp first.

I have a decent amount of gold items, so I only worry about losing my SH. And I would run through about 25 a week, while maintaining 150 of them. I stopped replacing them, and have been using Eagle fighter jets. This has lowered my density, but I only have 550 units, and 200 allies, so I can buy 4 eagles to make up for SH loss. I maintain my stats, but will eventually have to move to a stronger unit, or switch back to SH if I want my attack to increase.

The unit losses were bumming me out so much that I took the last two weeks or so to upgrade my infirmary to level 8. I'll be starting the upgrade to lvl 9 later this afternoon. What I've noticed is that it seems like the ally count makes a big difference in whether or not I take losses. I usually make sure that my A > their D and then I look at their ally count. I'll only attack now if I exceed their # of allies. I haven't lost a SH or carrier since I've paid attention to the ally count (although the infirmary might also be a factor).

@john snow. I'm 100% sure its because the number of ally. Well, actually its number of units. Less ally=less unit

I hope you're not telling me that I just upgraded the infirmary for nothing!!!!!!!

I have started looking at people with low unit count and I got better results. Also you can spot the cas glitchers as they have ridiculous number of units compared to the average

Raider here, don't even look at profiles till I see level 2 OR, lvl 10 Munitions, or equivalent. In the case that I find one, I'll look for equal stats or below. Most I lose is 2 warthogs, every 3 hits I come out profitable, though obviously the lower the stat the bigger the profit from fewer casualties suffered.

If I'm hard up for cash and having a hard time finding my honeypots, I'll hit lvl 3 Ore Mines, lvl 1 OR, or their equivalent as long as their half my stats or lower. Generally come out ahead on that count too. Usually go this route if I want to spend my stamina before bedtime.

Defense is really the only thing I care about. I don't even attack anymore unless a sizable amount (1 mil+) is over the vault (and obvious).

I always look at their D stat first, obvious really. If it's too high I can't be bothered to waste time looking round their base to find good buildings to raid or the character to attack.

If their D is below my attack then I look at cash, anything less than £1mil means no point in attacking. Then I scour the base for munitions stockpiles 8+ or Oil refineries. Ore mines 3+ are good also.

I've not had many losses, maybe 1 SH every 2 or 3 days but I'll try to look at ally count more now also if others seem to think that makes a big difference to casualties.

I look at their defensive stats then the cash they have and I hit them with a attack or raid if I spot a building worth raiding, my stats is fights won over 6000 , fights lost about 1200 give or take, raids over 9000 fails r at 91. So I do more raids then attacks.

I look for my attack being comfortably over their defense and try and account for their country boosts, etc.

Thanks for your input everyone. Lots to think about.
Don't know what it's like higher up and with more allies, but it's becoming harder to find high paying targets around here. I'm L72 74A.
On the cash targets: you can't tell how much someone has lying around unless they're already over 10 million. Seeing rivals holding anything up to 10 million tells you nothing until you attack them; and I thought I'd see more people saving for Nanos around here, but nope!

Almost always check out rivals from US & Iran only, for obvious reasons.
I basically just do valor farming on my favorite rivals by attacking and raiding. Always visit them daily.
I don't bother looking for cash rivals unless I'm guaranteed $300k per hit.

I only check their def stat, if their def is 10% and below my attk, I just valor farm them as I have low to zero casualty this way. Managed to get a sizeable strength of good loots by doing this.

Look at defense stat. If it's under 10K it's looking good. Then look at units. If it's under 600, good to go. Between 600-1000 im cautious and do not touch above 1000.

In terms of stats, if they have low enough amount of units, up to 15000 defence is acceptable. with under 450 units.
