I opened about 20 crates to get my 9 items. The ratios in the event are pretty good in the first 24 hours then get worse and worse as each day goes by.

The people who patiently go along with cash opens and then go on a hail Mary with Gold opens on the last day rarely win - my strategy is to go Hail Mary out the gate :)

P.S. I think I made a believer out of WP tonight :) He will probably no longer think I am just one lucky ba$tard now that he has personally experienced my success based on a proven strategy :)

I would consider this one of the more important event items.. along with 30% air, sea and infra that will be coming. Whale isn't that bad if you have the right amount of allies.

I'll make more of an effort when they bring out a corresponding prize with an air unit bonus. Next one should be infantry, then either air or sea as they're already considered strong.

As for PvE, I'm going after the Insurgent leader on this event. I think I read on here a while ago it has the highest probability of dropping a box. Had three from there today, but I'm not getting 1 from 8 to 10. more like 1 from 10-15. That's still a good return.

As a free player there's no point. There isn't much benefit, other than the SCUD. Maybe for a Gold player it's different. I'm sure you all see more golden ground units.

Haha yeah lol. I'm tring man.. I'm tring. Damn force ain't as sting as it once was.. Took 4 hours last night for me to even find a box haha. But I have plenty today and the 2nd day is usually the best day for me anyway :)
Plus I have a 3 day weekend, so that might help as well.

At 7 right now, but had 5 sorrys in a row. I have gotten an RPG crate drop every time when attacking the Floating Fortress on the Pirate Flotilla map. But at 583 energy it better. Railgun at Naval Battle has been about 1 out of every 2 it seems for crate drops.

Based on the attack results page it is broken, just like the Elite Heavy was when it came out.

In an attack the elite heavy and this one should have ended as my top two with the bonus in effect but they are one and three with the wave breaker in-between them.

Attack stats didn't jump as much as they should have either, just recorded the unit itself.

Hope I get #10, I have about 120 chances to get #10 it would be very very bad if we do not get it (and suspicious)

Got a late start but got 8 rockets from my first 13 crates. That occurred late last night, as it did with the last two events (roughly 5 days left at 8th capture) and on one of those events I went all 5 days without getting the 9th and on the satellite event it took me until the last hour to get 9. I'm hoping my luck improves this time around, but as a free player I'm not feeling great about it. As long as I beat flan all will be well.

Oh, and Flan- please for the love of God start using punctuation properly. I have a feeling you're life will improve drastically

Quite a few. The trick is to go heavy on gold the first day, then ride out the cash option for the last 2 or 3.

Don't forget that by adding this unit, a different unit was dropped out of your Attack stat.

Kinda funny that my iPad player has 7 and I've used about 100 gold. On my phone, I've used all cash, couldn't find a box until day 2, and he is at 7 also. Haven't tried too hard, but still average about 16 opens a day.

It's a crapshoot. I've spent 150 gold once I had 9, and got the tenth. I've also spent 3000 gold after 9, and failed to get the last part. Now if this was for air power, or reduced upgrade time, I would spend lots of gold!

@ryan... just a bit of fyi terminology to help you out... we typically call our primary/high level player our ppl and our low level secondary/third/fourth/etc players our lpl... hope that helps bud...
