Sound on iPhone4

I just transferred my game from an iPad2 onto my iPhone. I have the sound off on the game, but it keeps playing the startup tune whenever I log in - anyone figure out how to get it to stop that? When I go into options it shows all sound as "OFF." I have to turn the music "on" then back "off" and it stops, but I have to do that every time.

I just tried messing around with the settings and stuff and my music is off no matter if I log out or not. I'm on a 4s though so something could be different if your on just the 4.

I'm running the game on the iphone 4 and ipad. I have the sound off on both, and it stays off. Have you tried closing the game out all the way and rebooting the phone?

ya - I was traveling yesterday and did that a hundred times.... meh.

Still have the 3GS here. Everything works fine for me. Off is off no matter. On is on.

I also have the Iphone 4 not 4s and the sound works when turned on and off when turned off.

The sound being on could make it hard to play at work.
