View Full Version : Decorations Are Invisible to Visitors

I like designing my kingdom and enjoy looking at other players' designs. However, in Kingdom Age, decorations do not display to visitors. I hope game designers can fix this.
From in-game conversations, I think the only decoration that shows up is the deep pit. All trees, monuments, etc., are invisible.
I like to use decorations to add a sense of real life to my kingdom, as well as hide building levels and even certain buildings. I know many other players spend coin and time on decorations. It is a shame these items cannot be shared!

I read in another thread that there were significant performance issues with the decorations being visible so they disabled that. Would have been nice to "hide" some of the money buildings with trees.

The decoration don't help to hide the lvl of your money buildings.

.... guess the thought of drawing a penis in the middle of my kingdom out of the little walls would be an exercise in futility...

Honestly, you can hide a number, but that won't stop someone from clicking on it and reading the info.
Lol exactly ^ unlike in modern war where you can hide the lvl in KA you can just tap it and it'll read lvl 5 silo lmao

Use other buildings to hide your numbers, the decorations were causing bugs and problems so, the Devs masked them. It's is still nice to open your game and see a pleasant place. Keep your bases fresh and floral.... Bawhahaha
If you could only see mine. :)

Umm, you cant hide your building numbers from anyone in KA.
When you click on the building once the popup on the bottom left not only tells you the type of building like in CC and MW but it also tells you the level.
Because of this i turned off building numbers under settings and everything looks nicer.

I don't see a problem with alllowing allies to see each others' decorations. I am certainly curious to see some ally kingdoms with interesting layouts and creative decorating. Decorations probably aren't a priority for the developers, but it's the personalization that makes many games like these fun for myself and (I hope) many other players. :D

You can't hide building levels... Tap on a rival building, and you'll see all of the info.

lol, what CS said!
I like decorations, and I do not mind sharing. Actually I am practicing posting pictures - many thanks to Skoty. Not really computer savy so I hope this works.

That looks nice, Tiki.
My kingdom looks a bit like Liverpool circa the industrial revolution. ;)
I think my favorite feature is your level 2 manor.
You really should camouflage the pits... After all, who would be dumb enough to fall into an open onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *squelch*

Would be nice to see ally's decorations but it would still create performance issues. I'd take a more stable game over seeing decorations any day. The good thing is I find KA much more stable than MW. MW always crashes (I use an Ipad gen 1 which doesn't help either). However as more and more gets added into KA I am finding it is crashing at little more now but not even close to MW.

Logically, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense why looking at other people's decorations would crash the game, whereas looking at your own does not. It's the same "engine" rendering each.
