So, my second test begins!

After getting The Eviscerator by opening all 124 Coffers with gold i have decided to do this event using a mixture of cash and gold. The next event i'll only use cash.

So my summary from the last event is as follows:

Received 8 Artifacts in the first 12 Coffers. Number 9 came when i opened Coffer number 48 and number 10 when i opened Coffer number 124.

All 124 Coffers were opened using gold and i did 11 timer resets which is a total of 2,025 Gold Bars

Along the way to number 10 i received the following:

It's a bit annoying the common weapons are going to change halfway through this event because it would have been nice to see the amount you receive using the different options.

Has anybody calculated how much their stats will go up by if they get the final prize? My vehicles are currently at 35k.

Koralene, please note before you plow all your gold into this prize. It states CARS not VEHICLES. It is a huge difference as probably less then half of your vehicles are cars.

You can get boxes on maps you've already completed, but I wouldn't recommend it. On the first event, I thought I would try it because my current map was costing me about 300 energy per attack, so I went all the way back to Canal Street where it was only 12 or 14 energy. I used almost 1200 energy there and only got one box, lol. I wouldn't recommend it.

Maybe your just unlucky? Make sure you are completing the highest map with the highest energy cost you can...the higher energy cost, the higher the chance for a box. As for fighting or robbing, you can earn plenty of boxes that way as well. You just need to make sure you are robbing or attacking someone who already has boxes to take.

I understand that items 9 and 10 are harder to get when you open a box, that's a given, but not being able to open the boxes at all, for over half a day, is dumb as sht. It reads like "No gold? F U then, no open." Why include a free, low chance option when the medium chance is already squat?

You know what? If they changed the fails to "Please Play Again" or "Try Agan Later" it wouldn't be as frustrating. I have no idea where it makes sense to say "Better Luck Next Time" and then have the same bad luck, or worse luck the next time. I'm only level 24 in Kingdom Age and I have the same bs luck with that event as I do with the CC event at level 199.

I would also be highly sceptical if I saw these stats. I don't normally keep track of my opens but I thought that I would give White Frogs event spreadsheet a try (many thanks for putting this together White Frog!). This is the only reason I even know the percentage rate of my opens. Given my experience in past events I would by no means say that my open rate for this event is even remotely average. It would more likely be on par with getting the same number twice in a row on a roulette table as my open rate is normally terrible like many of you have experienced. I have thus far not used gold in events and just posted this to give hope to those who also do not use gold for events.

He said new loot with next update, and he said something about a new update coming out soon after the next event, which is this current Tire Box event. I don't know remember if he specified whether the update would be released during the event or after it's over, but check your iTunes update page often anyways. Nothing that I've seen so far, but iTunes still wants me to download the CC universal update from March, and I don't want to because my CCHD is running perfectly fine (I guess... ignoring the crashes and how broken the game has always been).

I don't think you read anything wrong. Keeping with policy, the statement you saw was clear as mud.

New items with the next update, so in about 3 months if the next upgrade takes as long as this recent one took since the last one, which was in March I believe.

It's just probability. If you flp a coin and it lands on heads four times in a row, the next time you flip the odds will still be 50/50. The odds do get lower the further into the event you go, but they're the same odds for everyone, I believe.

I've managed to win the last two events and despite losing 12 hours (as most droid users lost if not more), I still want this upgrade b/c of the longterm benefits. I just think I need to improve my odds a bit for a bit. Just keep grinding man. If you use the middle option long enough, you'll get there.

I'm over two days without a tire. The killer is that I'm opening at over 50%, which has never happened for me. Today I've gotten $375K, another 500rp, 2 colonel's vests, and an enhanced bike.

Good decision. The later you get to 7th/8th the chances are getting slimmer by the hour.

It's very possible. I've been doing cash and 3 gold so far. I get up two or three times during the night and usually sleep around 6 hours at night, so I'm getting 20 or 21 openings each day. Aside from losing those 12 hours at the onset, I have been doing this since the event popped up. I wish I'd logged all of my attempts, but I feel secure saying that I have around 60 attempts since I got to 7 and no tire.

The list of loot I have gotten is so staggering it's laughable. I never thought I'd be sick of getting respect points, but after getting 5,500 rp, I am sick. I need a tire. I need three tires, but one would be a nice start.

I'm trying not to get mad, but reading this thread... all the gold players who are doing worse than I am. Yeah, I don't think I'm going to be spending gold on events anymore. I'll keep turning in promo offers for free gold, but that gold is going toward buildings and shortening upgrade times when I need to.

This is kind of a game changer prize and I was willing to throw some money at it but boy talk about stupid! WTF???? Gosh, if I had gotten the prize at least I could feel somewhat good about it. There is a reason to not spend gold in these events!! Same thing happened to me for the Bank Buster.

I have spent about 600 gold. Ninth tire. Was using gold to reset timer, tried using 6600 cash to open crates. Four or five failed in a row so i started using asledgehammer as well. The income and attack events were fun but this really sucks and i am never doing an event of this nature again. Too hard to win andtoo much money/time to give up. Never again.
