Bug? Raid result vs profile

I just attacked a guy and the raid result says his defense is: 10902.

When I look at his profile: 11166

Anyone else seen these kinda differences? I know I could kill a couple of units, but losing nearly 250 points from a couple attacks seems off.

I think it's the value of his defense buildings is the delta when you raid v attack. Just add them up.

Defense buildings contribute to overall defense when being attacked but when being raided only the ones within range contribute.

I think the profile takes into account all the defense while the Raid result only the defense for that building (he probably has other defense buildings that aren't protecting the one you raided)

I've always felt Funkey monkey's theory was true, too... which helps explain why raiding somebody is generally easier than attacking them head-on.
