What Thug Life round are you at?

As the title asks, which round of Thug Life are you doing right now? I'm just starting round 327. Since they didn't tell us how many rounds were added this time I guess it's up to us to figure it out.

Loot for 325 was a Chain Whip. I'm not too excited about the Serratd Blades and YRBs that still show up this far into the game and this far into TL. I mean, after round 300 you've earned 150k RP just from goal completion alone. Does no one in house think players are smart enough to spend it wisely? :rolleyes: Oh well. I am looking forward to whetever the next Thug weapon will be though. Those loot items are cool. :cool:

40 or 50 something. I haven't had a TL goal in a while. It went from Winning Streak to Championship, back to Winning Streak, then Championship twice in a row so I ended up losing count of which TL goal I was on.

What level are you? I remember when I did my thug life goals early on I would see people with 1000+ mafia at level 20...even though you can only use 100, they still qualify for all TL goals including 500 mafia

I rob all day long and I have yet to see somebody over 220 mafia. I saw somebody yesterday with 226 that's the limit. I know I can attack but there are so many people in this bracket I guess.

You need to define "the limit" cause there is no limit...

I see nobody over 225 mafia...the limit refers to the maximum mafia number i've seen while going through my list every day.

Minimum I saw was 80 something, the max I saw was 226.

TL 324.. Lvl 193...very handy gaining respect weapons as ingame weapons have less value now.
Spreading between CW(334) and FCG(69) RPG(56)....noticeably tricky though as so many 499ers.

PAWN, I think you still get credit for the goal as long as they have the 240+ in their mafia total. Doesn't matter that they only bring 220 into the fight at lvl 44. Test my theory and see if it works. Find someone of your level that has 500 mafia and fight them, check your TL goal and it should have gone up by one. :-)

Yeah but nobody has that mafia number in my rival list because the most I can see is up to 225 or so. It shouldn't matter, they can all bring 500 in anyway since they're all over level 100 now.

Thug life 329. Lots of rats at the higher levels. I keep 500 mafia to help others achieve goal. Wish others felt that way! 123 stamina helps get me through it. I usually get two to three thug life's completed a day unless I come across a super rich hood!

Since I started doing that I think there have been 3 hoods with anything good, but no hoods with millions yet so I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

On a slightly off topic yet related note, I just completed the last available Hardcore Hitman goal this morning. I was hoping there would be something cool for finishing the HH goals, but all I got for it was an Exelero. :( Not bad, but those are old news at this point and they don't do spit for my defense score. Oh well, I guess it's still a huge bonus that we get cool thug weapons for TL, and nearly all other goal rewards are intentionally not worth the time it takes to get them. Ç'est la (cc) vie.

Down here where I am in the low hundreds of mafia and level hoods are rarely even worth hundreds of thousands. The most I take in barely over $100k sometimes :( That's not even from good collection cycles, people just have worthless buildings. D:

Well there was a surprise Thug Blaster for completion of round 345, so I don't really know what to expect from round 350. I'll find out after another 74 wins. I just emptied my stamina, so that will happen somewhere around a little over 3 hours from now. Maybe ~11pm EDT.

The respect is sort of nice, I guess... Each round adds 500 to my collection. 267k and increasing. RP items do very little for me so I have no real incentive to buy them.

I decided to give myself two options: rob rats of their cheese and only rob rats of their cheese, or take my TL goals as fast as I can, and only do TL goals. I think it's obvious which of the two options I chose. There will be plenty of rats left when I finish TL, whenever that happens, and that's when they will pay. ;)

Reward for 375 is NVB.

I saw someone with 3 Thug Blasters, so there's another one coming eventually. That person had a somewhat questionable inventory though, like, they must have just recently won a lottery. Like 40 Boomers from crates and at least 10 of the limited explosives that went for 900+ gold each.and that's just to mention a couple things. This person has few if any of the earlier crate items, and if you compare their stats to the amount of gold spent they were weaker than a little girl before spending thousands on gold.

You are basically going to need both rpgs and exeleros...

I just purchased a little over 100 chain whips.. now I'm saving up for rpgs - hopefully I can purchase at least 50 rpgs - shooting for 100... and then save up the 15 levels for exeleros...

depends on what th erpg adds, im replacing my m4a1 set with them already. but with the hit and runner in my inventory i buy more exeleros now until i dont get anymore atk points from them.

if you can beat the rivals around you without trouble to find good targets then save rp for the exelero. if u feel in need for attack points spend em on rpg or even some nvb for the 16 atk, its still great gain in armor section and cheap, defense can be made with uwv or fbi shields in armor. hope tht makes sense, having some hard times to translate my thoughts atm

I agree with Johnny. Even guns won from events for getting 3 items are better than RPGs. I would only buy RPGs if you have difficulty winning against attacks and robberies against the rivals on your list. RPGs have crap defense, but that's just my opinion.

Saving for Exeleros starting at level 90 worked well for me. I got 50 of them the instant I was able to buy them and I had already won several from previous fight goals. I think the last RPG I got only added a few points to my attack, none to my defense, and was the 21st RPG added to my inventory.

And I now have somewhere around 310k RP banked. I think Conzio sh!t the bed with adding new RP items. There must be hundreds of players who save RP because the current items do little or nothing for them, so if new RP items are introduced it will be yet another example of the strong getting stronger.

Now I'm almost wishing the current TL set goes to round 435 just to see if the next Thug Weapon is a fourth Blaster. I'm now expecting another YRB at round 400, which is really disappointing considering the amount of rats that need to be kicked aside just to finish these friggin goals.

I'm hoping for a Thug Chopper, but that was a crate loot so I'm not holding my breath. The stats on it would be comparable to what you might see for an event item awarded at 9/10 though, iirc. I don't have one and I'm not searching rival inventories just to figure it out.

You don't have to pay money to complete Thug Life, so I guess this is just another case of Conzio thinking "players give us nothing to play, so we give them nothing to play with."

They have seriously stopped giving a single sh!t about free players, who they must have forgotten are necessary in order for gold buyers to have players to beat up. They're going to kill their own game doing that. Their loss.

Valid point, but for free players TL goals are even more important than they are for gold players. So not caring about free players doesn't just end with the free players. That's the point I'm making. Eventually the free players will get fed up and quit, leaving the gold players to play "who can spend more". This new event format is a pretty good example of that.

I'm sure it might be perfectly valid, but when I was still climbing the ranks I tried to stay as small as possible while remaining competitive, but the players that populated my rivals list made that impossible. I got to a point where everyone I could see was 500+ to my 150-300, and the only way I could do anything successfully was to call up more homies to get my back. I never looked back on that, nor have I ever had any real problems or difficulties, so experimenting with mafia size has always seemed strange and pointless to me.

The most defense I have to deal with is maybe 12k, which is more than enough to run over with 8k attack because they spammed defense buildings. It's very uncommon to find people who actually have the equipment to back up that number, and if they do then it's mostly people who I need to complete TL with :( People at or over 300 mafia.

Edit: I just went back to page 1 because I realized it's been a month since I started the tread. 98 rounds (and a bit of wasted stamina because of sleeping in/waking up with a full bar) done so far, but I should get at least another two rounds completed in the next 21 hours.

100 Thug Life rounds post-Round 300 in a month, not too bad. I doubt I'm the furthest along, but no one further along than me is posting about their progress. Also, the other day I entered a hood and found two casinos, hotels, and palm hotels up for grabs. They were my first robberies in over a month as a result of mistaken identity. Long story short, someone who's name rhymes with tennis got upset that I attacked him, so I would blind attack every chance I got. He started changing his avatar, forcing me to actually visit his hood since other players have the same name. He was too beat up, but I wasn't about to let him off the hook with those buildings sitting there. After I made the first hit I realized my mistake, but why stop after just the one rob? Easy $2M :cool:

They added at least 135 rounds and it's ALL repetition of the last 45 rounds from the last time they extended Thug Life.

Almost 81k, but a lot of those were done without counting towards TL. For example, some of the players I've seen with 4 Thug Blasters have many thousand fewer fights won, but a lot more robberies won (and failed). I only have almost 20k robberies won and less than 650 failed. Some of my fight wins are also defensive wins, and I'm pretty sure those don't count for TL goals.

Request to the Gree, could we have more Thug Life and Hardcore Hitman goals now that the level cap has been expanded? In addition, could the "rewards" for these goal extensions be some of the newer Respect items and/or a larger number of respect points for each round completed? 750-1000 RP would be cool, considering a player's position by the time they hit the upper levels, low tier/cheap RP items are useless.

Even when they expanded the thug life goals, they didn't add good rewards.

They've added good respect items to the game but completing all 500 thug life goals will only get you a few of them.
