Quest: The Gaze of the Kraken

Slay the Kraken's eye. Alright so this is what happened. Before this quest even came up, I thought I could get a good weapon from the Kraken's Eye, so I killed it. Some time later, I got to the Kraken's Eye quest, but there's no Kraken's Eye to kill since I killed it a while back. I've killed almost 60 monsters since, but still no Kraken's Eye.

Should I just continue to kill random monsters in hope of seeing it again sometime?

Should I just continue to kill random monsters in hope of seeing it again sometime?I'm not familiar with that quest, but if you got it as an assignment and you've killed 60 monsters to get it officially, then it's time for a support ticket. Similar experience with my a quest. After 20 hits @ 29 energy x2 or x3 per hit made me wonder. Still waiting for support to respond after they said they would investigate.
