Hi all,

Ok, so economy is everything.....question though:

I am at level 48 now. Not really camping, but slowing it up a bit.
I have an income of 14k per hour right now. 14 k which i actually can collect: i have no low level buildings (deleted them) en have a fairly level-upgrade on building that collect on 6, 12 or 24 hour base.

But, when do i level?
What is a good income going to level 50?

I'm level 40 at $22k p/h... so I'd say by the time I'm at 50 I'd like to be at probably 30k?

AND I HAVE ALL LOW LEVEL BUILDINGS except for a few... So I would assume it should actually be much higher than 30k...

My only "high level buildings" are movie theaters and I'm in the process of building my first loft.

Here's my list of buildings:
(2 of everything) (level building 1:level building 2)
basketball courts - 9:9
Ice Cream - 7:8
Tattoo - 1:3
Pawn Shop - 3:3
House - 4:4
Pizza - 4:4
Dinner - 2:2
Italian Rest - 5:5 (I think)
Gas - 4:4
Gun Shop - 3:3
LM - 10:10
Barbershop - 3:3
Deli - 3:3
Carousel - 1:1
Empire Theater - 2:2
sushi - 1:1
Tshirt - 4:4 (I think)
Souvenir - 4:4
chinese rest - 1:1
Electronics - 2:2
fish store - 1:1
Movie Theater - 2:2

Your current income is better than 75% of the players on my rival's list. I'm level 76 ATM.

I'm lvl 120 and I still see ALOT of people between 10-40k, probably about 60-70% of them.

bobic - the importance of your income isn't to compare to others - it's so you can afford to outfit your mafia members a lot quicker.

If you feel comfortable or if you've been camping and buying a tone of equipment and you are ready to move up - then go for it.

If for instance you have 100 of every weapon category and you WANT to level up - then drop your mafia down to 100 and keep leveling up and building income...

You don't have to keep up with the mafia count level every level.

The only reason you wouldn't want to drop mafia members is to complete thug life goals... but that will get difficult if you haven't outfitted your mob properly.

Take a look at your inventory and find out how much of every "good item" you have for every level, find out how much it's going to cost you to make it even (ie: 100 of each item) and then get those items and start leveling again. As you can afford more stuff, then start adding more members.

Do what helps you have the most fun. This is just a game.

IMO just aim as high as possible before you get bored. Try not to get sucked into the game like some of us (including me) did.

In game cash is pretty worthless, even for equipping your mafia. A lot of the random PvP loot is better than in-store cash items, and the respect you accumulate by fighting allows you to buy the best RP items (if you don't waste too much of it on low/mid tier RP items). Factor in the additional 500 RP from each Thug Life and Hardcore Hitman goal, and don't forget about the loot rewards... The game actually takes care of equipping a lot of your mafia for you with no additional effort required.

Might as well keep leveling up. The best things you can do with in-game cash are buy explosives, buy hood expansions, and buy buildings/upgrades.

Ythats void point. I leveled very fast and still have stats to kickass. But you might need to keep your mafia size a low until you can fully equip.

Most of my cash items are still equipped.

10k-30k is pretty much what I see on level 97. I every once in awhile see a 50k-100k. So just keep upgrading and building

Yup. At level 97 I have a 79k IPH and that's only because of my nightclub that took 4 weeks to save up for.

Best income is like 300k plus, more rewarding when I rob and empty your hood...also best not to bank it, keep it in plain sight

The majority I see @ 41 is 0-5K, and the exception was someone at 15K and I cleaned him out.

Wow! You have a lot of very quick and cheap upgrades in there. You can literally get all those to L5 in the next two days.

You should factor in that your laundromats account for about 9000$/h (a little more if you're a tycoon/goodfella) so unless you collect on them religiously you should not worry about income per hour too much. You should really upgrade your buildings.

I'm always upgrading/building...

Currently getting 1 basketball court to 10 and building my first loft... both of those are taking a long time to do...

I'm saving up in the mean time for second loft and getting second court to 10.

Once those are done I'm getting the 2 ice cream shops to ten and then get everything to 5.

I would recommend upgrading your first loft to level 2 before building the second because the upgrade takes less time and you get about 72k a day(again depends on if you're a tycoon/goodfella) versus 24k/day or 48k/day for two. I went from about 24k/h and 238k/h in about two months.

There is no right answer.
From a more empirical perspective you may want to look at your rival list and pick out those who you feel have a decent hood and/or acceptable stats.
Record the income for a minimal of 10 subjects and figure the mean. If you are way off that figure then I suggest working on the economy for a bit until you feel its an acceptable level.
10 subjects may not be a statistically significant sample so you may want to add more.
