Crates for the events

What's the best way to get crates for the events? I keep on attacking players and doing missions but not a single one. They are very hard to come for me.

PvE : do missions that require high energy. The higher the energy, the higher the chance to get a crates/box.

PvP : you can only get crates if the person that you attacked has it. So on the first day it's a bit hard but you can still get it if you choose your opponent carefully. Look for active players: players that collects their armoury,silos, electric power plant. These are the players that most likely will have crates in their inventory. Second tactic is to look for event item number 3 in their inventory. This will also tell you that this player will most likely has crates in hand.
