Don't want to get a bunch of folks mad on here, but I went back and checked, and I have a pretty high ticket number. Perhaps they aren't going in chronological order? I'm sure a bunch of you will have received it by tomorrow -- they're obviously handling tickets and putting the items in inventories. My advice is don't pester them with support tickets or harsh words. Be patient, and it will work out.

Also, by the way, it's the bigger number (464 defense) for those of you who were worrying about that.

Well first, congratulations to those who have received their unit. I am however a little disappointed in the customer service. It's easy to tell the rest of us to be patient when you hAve the prize in your inventory. What ticks me off is the players with the higher ticket numbers getting served first. Kinda of diminishes the whole "take a number"

Odd given the fact that I haven't received anything and with a IPH close to 516k/hour at the end of the event.

They make a great game but have a hard time keeping up with the service end of it. Well lets all hope that they are learning from these mistakes and correcting their deficiencies so it doesn't happen on their next event. But I guess that all depends on if they can keep their customers. Many people are throwing the towel in. I wander what the ratio is from people quitting and new joins. Usually when a competition is held, it's normal procedure for the competition holder to inform the contestants who the winners are, and within a reasonable amount of time after the event ends.
It seems to be a a little odd that we're asked to send in a support ticket if we haven't received a prize, when we're not even sure if we've won or not. Am I correct in thinking you don't have a clue who the prizewinners are in this "tournament"?
Ask yourselves, why would you want to be burdened with so many hundreds (or thousands) of support tickets to inform you of a potential prize winner? It's your job to determine who won, not us. Seems like something technical went wrong and you don't have any idea who won. Perhaps one reason no winners list came up at the end of the tournament.

Hope you sort it out soon. You've got a potentially great game here.

Try running this on the backup database you have taken at the time the event ended. Get the top 500 names from each result sets and publish in this forum.

If you are unable to do this, get new tech guys or reward everyone with the prize.

Getting a list of winners should take seconds not weeks.

Originally, mark said it would be Friday, June 15. A bunch of you either missed that post, or didn't believe it, or forgot. Give them until Friday before you bash, is all I'm saying. Mark reported that they discovered a bunch of cheaters as a result of this event, and getting rid of them helps every one of us. That process, coupled with the gree thing (thismwas the first event under the new management) probably has a lot to do with the delay. Let's see if they come through by Friday as promised.

I saw it. I've read every post of his since this event ended. I'm just saying that if mark says "I'll get it done...it probably will take us til Friday", then we should give Funzio the time. Mark's obviously working on it...people are getting the units. Bashing funzio for not getting it done sooner, when they established Friday as the deadline, seems pointless.

One reason to close support tickets that are not resolved is that they have been passed on to the engineers. Those bug tracking systems usually are separate since the engineering system contains much more privileged info, etc. In other words, it doesn't mean you don't have a problem, just that there's nothing first line support can do about it. Sounds like they could word these better, but that's my guess as to what's happening with closed support tickets.

Saigon has a good point, this seems like a global problem, not just a few users. Was hoping to hear that they have acknowledged this and are working on a global fix. Mark was here for a bit but seems to have not provided an update, so must be they are still working on it.

ETA: Mark already said Viet may have made a mistake...sounds like he may have made more than one...PM CC Mark.

Hi Corsair, I appreciate your optimism but given the fact that Funzio themselves do direct their client base to this forum for information on the event, you have to guess that they have a serious problem on their end as clearly unable to:
1) publish the list of winners in the 1st place
2) (probably even worse) do some type of proper communication regarding how they are intending to fix the issue and acknowledging that there is indeed an issue

I'm in the same boat here really. Spent lots of gold to buy the money buildings during the event, IPH got to 2.4k before the event ended and yet no prize item either. Sent the ticket in (ref: 120831) a few days back but no reply. Completely fed up with all these issues in the end, submitted the another ticket this morning (ref:125037) to refund the gold I purchased, I doubt they will but we will see how it goes :)

Obviously there are plenty of issues with support. However what you paid for were "Gold income Buildings" that provide you with in game cash. Have they stopped providing you cash? Thats the only way you could make that argument in my eyes. Since there was no leaderboard or Goal to hit to garuntee you the unit then you had no garuntee when you bought the items with the gold other than a building that provides you with cash.

Just my 2 cents.

The whole gambling aspect. I think there way around is the fact that during events, the option to participate in the event for free and no forced spending . Plus no cash prize. No cash prize is a big thing in gambling guidelines.

Once more everyone, I received mine and my income was in the 180 and change range so anyone above me will definitely get theirs. If you made the cut that CCMark posted, it will show up eventually.

Constantly posting won't make it come any sooner, they will inventory them out as they go thru the list and I imagine that CJ and even Viet are pretty busy double checking IPH for the winners.
Iknow, it seems like it should have been done automatically but it wasn't, unfortunately, and I'm sure they all learned something from this kerfuffle.

I would suggest that if you have sent a ticket to let them know where you stand, be patient and if it doesn't show by Friday, which was the original latest delivery day, then raise H***!

Also, CCMARK stated that they had been "awarded" he didn't say them had been "delivered" , big difference. What I read from that is they have their list of winners (awarded) and are working on the delivery.

My ticket is just slightly ahead of you (123100) but still no unit or even a reply. I guess it depends on who is handling your ticket. If CJ is assigned to your case, then your good to go. My IPH was 312k at the end of the event BTW. Lvl 57

At first, i really dont bother with this event, as my IPH really sucks that time, but because seeing the on to battle stuff posted, i raided people, and upgrading my money building, and now have 222k IPH, but the problem is, I didnt keep track of the IPH when the event ended..
Reading your post that the cutoff is 138k, have bring some hopes up, so I sent a ticket earlier today (ticket #125115) to see whether I have won the tourney..
I'll wait for the response whether I get it or not...

Thanks for the update CCMark, it made me feel much less anxious. A few hours ago I received a reply to my email from "C" saying that Elite Base Defense is in my inventory. I checked my air unit inventory but nothing new was there. I tried relogin, and resetting my device a few times but it is still not there. I has been hours since my reply. No winner list. If you havent sent in a ticket already then you wont get it. According to CCM , any tickets send after Jun 13 will not be investigate. You can however send a PM to him to ask. No harm trying.

Many of my friends sent ticket and received the reply and the price so I decided to send on Thursday a ticket to see what happened to my price but nothing. How come you can issue pop ups in the game to announce events, gold sales, and limited editions but you can't inform you players that you have f*cked up and need them to raise a ticket!!!!

What about all your players that don't even visit a forum?

Hey all,

Crime City Mark here (edits are fun). The prizes for the event have been given out. We will not be posting a winner list for this event.

When the event went live there was an internal communication issue that caused various departments to be working with different sets of data, which led to a disorganized event. After a lot of internal work we sorted things out and started looking at the event results only to find a fair deal of cheating. We spent countless hours going over the cheaters, and now we're confident that no cheaters were given event prizes.

Going forward we're going to make sure that information is communicated more accurately between departments, and that we have more information for you (the players) before, during, and after an event.

I apologize for all of the confusion during this event and hope that you'll all bear with us as we try out these new event types.

Here is the minimum IPH for each level bracket:

Level 100 or under: 138,786 IPH minimum.
Level 101 or higher: 367,366 IPH minimum.

If you had more than that at the end of the event, please use the in-game contact method to reach support. Please note that due to support being backed up we are only going to be taking these tickets for another day. Any tickets about this sent in after today will not be investigated.

wow i didnt see that either. thats ridiculous.

my guess is they have probably given out about 3,000 of these units now. why? because 187k/hr is WAY TOO LOW of a cut-off. whoever figured that cutoff must've been smoking something. if they would have cut it off at a more realistic number like 350k then they would have only have to send out the 1,000 units as planned.

edit- i for one think that they should change the cutoff to whatever it really needs to be and re-distribute the units to people who actually won them.

What irritates me is that Viet replied to him saying he added it to his inventory, yet when I sent a ticket and Viet replied, he said they are no longer handing them out... :rolleyes:

Still no unit and no response to my tickets sent over a week ago. I have over 500k IPH (lvl 75) and at least 450k IPH at the event. It is ridiculous that someone with as low as 135k IPH could win an income event prize. Are the servers at Funzio all bugged? And since when no tickets are being answered? Is the support team gone? Are they labeling all the high income players who do not receive the prize cheaters? Ridiculous!!

Ok i am just back from holliday and didnt see the IPH under lvl 100, i had 210.000 at the end of the event and didnt get it.
Where can i send my ticket too, i deserve to get the item.
