Guesses for Bottom of the Top 500 lists (±100)?

For <100, I'm guessing around 350k-400k is the BOTTOM of the 500 list.
For ≥100, I'm guessing around 1,500k is the BOTTOM of the 500 list.

What are your opinions?

that's bogus... That wouldn't measure that. It's just the IPH. They did I poor choice of words, imo, to say revenue instead. CC and MW have the same event. I HIGHLY doubt it's measuring anything but the IPH... just my opinion

I could level to 100 before the event ends, but I still don't think I'd be in the running. My IPH is like 175k or so. :cool: Really not worth going after because the unit doesn't offer any other perk, except the godly stats.

i agree. worst prize unit so far because it offers no bonus. and the stats have been driving me CRAZY!!! why are there two different ones being offered?!

They likely do have to make seperate graphics for the different screen sizes and this is probably where they messed up Any one wanna prove or disprove this?

Same here. I rarely see rivals with over 300k iph. Most are between 180k to 270ish
But that's just around my lvl and the past 20 or so lvls I remember..

I'm contemplating purchasing 2 geothermal plants. but i feel stupid spending 500 gold on that when i'm prob already sitting at rank 200-300.

All the builds I do nowadays take several days to complete. So they are hoping people will spend gold to speed up the builds. But without knowing what the cutoff income is and considering how expensive it is to upgrade I don't see a lot of people doing that.

If all your builds take several days to complete, I would guess you are one of those that's going to be top 500. Just a guess, though.

With the expansions costing 11 & 12 mil for the spots for the desals, I didn't get them as I had money for other building upgrades. Don't worry though, the 12 mil expansion is in progress and I will have both desals soon. :) I'll also be busting through to 700 per hour in the coming weeks, if not sooner. I haven't figured out when it will happen, like I normally do.

I don't really see how someone can make a huge difference in the time without spending a lot of gold, which of course is the reason for the contest. That is pretty easy to figure out as it is and always will be the focus of funzio. I will be in the top without having to do a thing. So im not worried or whining, just stating the facts.

Definitely a lot easier to win this thing over level 100. First off there's less of us at level 100. Second, most of the people that are here, rushed here and don't have an income per hour. Third, most gold players realize income is next to useless to them and don't have a good income either.

I don't think ALL your upgrades take several days if you are at 420k per hour.

The upgrade I started Friday on my electric plant still has 50 hours to go. There are some upgrades I could do to in under 30 hours, but I am looking at what increases my income the most for the few times I check the app every day. It doesn't do me much good to upgrade my supply depot for another $300 in payout if it takes 30 hours to do and I'm only going to be on 6-8 times a day, my total gain would only be 1800-2400. So I upgrade ore mines, oil rigs, chemical plants, refineries and electric plants. They offer the best increases for how I play. Upgrading my electric plant will give me an 20k each time I check in, for an overall gain of 120k - 160 per day.

The IPH really doesn't matter to me because you have to sit there grabbing money every 5 minutes. Upgrading a supply deport has a big effect on your IPH with little effect on overall income. But upgrading an oil rig has a noticeable impact on IPH and overall income. I can't use IPH to buy units, only what I am actually grabbing. The downside to playing this way is that upgrades are expensive, so you have to sit around with a lot of unprotected money. So you have to bulk up to protect it. And sometimes I upgrade those minor buildings when I need to amass a small fortune. Anymore I bulk up for a day or two, then save for a day or two to do the next upgrade. It works for me.

I thought we all figured out that the measurement for this event was how much money you were able to generate in the specified time frame between collecting your buildings, doing PvE Missions, and PvP raids.

If that's the case, I hope that many of you just focused on "Modern Construction" this whole time while I was playing "Modern War" and raking in some serious cash!

Wish there was a Leaderboard to see which strategy paid off :)

I think they're throwing a bone to the players that focus on income, as opposed to developing their military. If you were to include all revenue sources, it would get really complicated from a reporting perspective. Either way, because I'm a raiding madman anyhow!! 16,679 successful raids

It shouldn't be too hard to generate the queries. All attacks are calculated by the servers, so they could store the data between combatants as it happens. When you put anything in the vault or build anything it has to communicate with the server, so they have a good idea of what you are making and spending.

The things it doesn't need communication for are when you get payouts from your buildings or buy units, I can do those things anywhere regardless of wifi connections. But you can't start the game, upgrade, build, move buildings or bank anything without a connection.

I can't see them just using income from buildings as the basis for the contest. They would have to include income from raids and attacks. Otherwise, they could have just said "As of Friday evening at 10:00 these people have the highest incomes and get this". Unless you want to use gold to upgrade, and that would cost more than just buying gold units. And once you have spent the gold you have nothing - unless you make it to the unknown cut-off point where the 500 reside.

They're trying new things, but I can think of many different ones that would be more challenging. A good one would be the ones who received the most strictly from raiding.

Yeah I would have preferred a raiding tournament over this confuseing iph tourny lol. Atleast we would know 100% what we had / needed to do ingame. But I guess they are tring to compensate the campers / big time iph players a bit here.

It's pretty obvious it's income per hour stat and nothing else. Why people think it could be raids, income collected etc is beyond me. My view is you will need approx 350k and over to win the item. I've been battling and checking out stats and very rarely come across anyone higher than 250k! Funzio have done this to give the long term players a freebie and hopefully stop all the negative feedback but it's probably just added fuel to the fire.

Would love to see the a list however. On that list what the winning I/H was as well so we all have an idea of the ranges we can shoot for if another event came around.

I Guess i would love to see that for all events! What was the lowest Attack for the PVP tourment for example?

It seems this event was not well thought out. The vagueness and lack of answers plus no Leaderboard made this event seem like an amateur was in charge.

I think we all pretty much have established that it is not only IPH Dreno, It's Revenue all together meaning any and which way you can collect money.

Probably same as me man beast. I decided I wanted to see how far I could go without having a major income from my own base. Almost to level 100 and still kicking on ok. Adds an extra element to things cause you have to fight for almost every dollar so you can replace units and build your base.
