I have a question about these events it's my third one so i don't know much about it, Can i goto back to canal street which is the first town on the map and get drops ? Or do you only get them by beating jobs. I want to find a place that uses less energy and still get the drops to use, im level 49 if that helps.

Caribean: You have a better chance of getting the coffers from doing higher energy jobs, meaning the higher the cost in energy per tap, the greater your chance of getting a drop of a coffer. I personally feel that even though you get more chances by using less energy, then you lose out of a much lower drop rate. Find a middle ground and you'll be good, but going back to canal street I feel would just hurt you in the long run with the low drop rate of the coffers.

Well, that's it. 133 attempts total.

102 attempts with 45 successful openings after artifact #9 and still no #10 to be found.

That event was the most boring grind I've ever had with CC to date. Please no more of these at whatever success rate that was. Even if I had won it on the last day, it was just a terrible event with odds that were way to low. Logging in and attempting to open a coffer for 133 hours of a 168 week and no #10? Wow, just wow.

I only bother doing the jobs when the events are on. I work through one map at a time doing all the jobs at level 1 and then level 2 then 3 and so on. Normally i get between 5 and 8 coffer's on the first day and as you'll see in this thread i've already got 8 artifacts.

Somewhat regretting taking an only PvP approach right now. With just 100 energy, it's almost impossible for me to do jobs in search of Coffers. Very little luck getting them through robberies or attacks either. Gotten 1 within the last 350 Stamina used lol

Just failed my most recent opening, oh well. I want that armor, that 7th item is always the most imbalanced in terms of one of the stats, either the attack or defense is the highest single one. Stuff like the executioner which had 91 attack :3

That armor to me is the only thing I'm really looking for. Although...that 400 attack would suffice :)

I have yet to win an event - I usually get to 9 like most peeps I reckon --- but this weapon I want since I rob a lot :P I'd like to have the extra RP :P

Like an idiot I missed the first few hours --- must remember to "reboot" my device around "reset time" -- also didn't get even one coffer for the first 6 hours or so :/ used all my energy and stamina too!

I agree dudeman. I'm sitting on 58,000 respect right now in anticipation of some new more powerful, obviously more expensive weapons. More and more players are getting further in the game so I think that it is about time to release a new batch of respect weapons. Maybe even some respect explosives...

And I see a pattern here, you get a bunch in the beginning and then just can't seem to get the tenth. Events are so hard to justify when to spend gold. I feel like I should allocate at least 20$ to each event because I think Funzio has tricked me somehow to think if I'm not spending I'm not trying hard enough so no 10th item for you.

I did give up as well. Opening with gold last 15.. nada.. and I'm at 8..

I've just blind attacked 50 people in a row in my list.. (ok, i skipped one as I know I would loose :) ) and only Luke (lost to him :( ) and other 2 guys had the final item. So it is 3 out of 50 or approx 6%.
Odds are there for somebody who has 9 artifacts, but not too good :)

With cash option, I have 36 opens out of 85 tries. I've had 22 opens out of 56 tries since I opened the 9th artifact. So, technically, I'm 0/22 opens and 0/56 tries on attempting to get the 10th artifact after having the 9th.

Yes, Eyelusion, I know what you mean. I had a similar experience with the Striker Minigun from the briefcases which I really wanted to have. Did not get it after an early 9th item. Feels bad -- even though I was quite lucky on many events.

Well, it mainly helps people (like myself) who are on the way up on the level ladder. It makes it a lot easier to keep everyone equipped as your mafia expands (b/c that seems to happen in waves during the game) and as the top respect weapons become unlocked.
