7 out of 8 fails. I did get another carnival hammer. So far since the extension I am 3 out of 12 with 2 enhanced bikes and a carnival hammer to show for it. Cash only. Could be worse, I guess.

Attempts were somewhere in the mid to upper thirties to get #10. Used gold once, and I did not get an artifact when I did.

On the day still only 5/16 for opening coffers, but the last one was all that counted. Now, that I've got it, this thing looks completely different. I've upped my attack over 800 during this event so far. I have another 20 attempts or so to enjoy some gravy with my eviscerator.

I would say that his results are pretty common. In the last few events it took many people 150+ successful opens to get the tenth. If you get it before that you are just incredibly lucky

I know exactly how you feel mate. I was actually glad when i had to go to bed knowing that when i woke up the event would be over because there's no way i was getting 10, as you can see i rinsed off the rest of my gold before i went to sleep only to find it had been extended the next morning. The week i decide to open every box with gold bars the event gets extended, very annoying Funzio!!!!!!

I've had enough of this event and can't wait until its over.

Bring back the PvP Event or a robbery style event, they're much more enjoyable.

You're right. RP is the only thing I keep opening for. Right now I'm still going for 10...loving those sledgehammer, batons and 25,000 payouts...oh my!

Woohoooo i opened my 124th coffer of the event and there it was, the 10th Artifact!!!!

See my post on the first page if you want to see all the details but here's a summary.

Started the event as soon as it went live.

Received 8 Artifacts in the first 12 Coffers. Number 9 came when i opened Coffer number 48 and number 10 when i opened Coffer number 124.

All 124 Coffers were opened using gold and i did 11 timer resets which is a total of 2,025 Gold Bars

Along the way to number 10 i received the following:

18 x Enhanced Bike
15 x Carnival Sledgehammer
9 x Colonels Armored Vest
13 x EU Security Baton
24 x 500 RP = 12,000 RP
14 x $25,000 = $350,000
21 x $125,000 = $2,625,000

Well, that's it. 133 attempts total.

102 attempts with 45 successful openings after artifact #9 and still no #10 to be found.

That event was the most boring grind I've ever had with CC to date. Please no more of these at whatever success rate that was. Even if I had won it on the last day, it was just a terrible event with odds that were way to low. Logging in and attempting to open a coffer for 133 hours of a 168 week and no #10? Wow, just wow.

Conclusion: It's like a 7 day game of slots. I'll pull it with cash, but I'm never using any gold again. I've never won with using any gold. My 2 wins from these events were both cash only and I won both with a little over a day left. Cash only from here on out, no exceptions.

I remember she got the 10th in the last minute in the event before last, didn't make it in the last event and is still stuck at 9 in this event. You should keep in mind that she had all the 10th except one before the recent three events.

3 days of hourly gold opens at 9 cofers. (was part of the group locked out for a day) and a final rush as well. Almost wish it wasnt extended at this point and I just did the rush when I got in with a few hours to go! lol.

I know it's ridiculous! The event frustrated me so much that when i did get the 10th i felt relief rather than excitment and i paid them to give me that feeling lol

Im glad you got it billionaire. It would have been a terrible dissapointment to spend that much and not get it. The odds on getting the final two parts are a joke. I do think funzio switches up the odds from event to event. They throw out a few easier events and make you think getting the 10th wont be that hard, then they have an event like this where the odds are really low and try to cash in. luckily i didn't fall for their trick this time

Given this rate, starting from 9 items:
For a 50% chance of getting the 10th, you need to spend 570 gold.
For a 75% chance of getting the 10th, you need to spend 1290 gold.
For a 90% chance of getting the 10th, you need to spend 2070 gold.

Im done with spending real money on these events. I've been at 9 now for the last 4 days. My gf got her 10th spending some gold so I through in $20 to try my luck. One after one of batons, sledgehammers and the terrible enhanced bikes...finally said screw it and spent the last 150 gold on upgrading to goodfella. Might as well spend it on something that is guaranteed. I've gotten 3 of the grand prizes with just in-game cash so far. That's how it will stay. I am glad they took out the +1 mafia. That is almost completely worthless. Just spam your number like everyone else and ppl will add you

I'm not particularly bothered with not getting the prizes, to be honest. I am fairly shocked about the stats moving from 9 to 10, if the overall probability of 9 is correct.

If people were given the option of dropping 570 gold (that's about £28 or $50?) for just a 50% chance of obtaining the item, I suspect far, far fewer people would invest the gold.

This is one of the problems with this sort of game, I rarely spend gold on the events, but I suspect a lot of people would have. A substantial part of the reason would be because they do not have a true understanding of exactly what the odds of obtaining the item and overall costs to obtain actually are before they start.

That explains your crash. What about when you're sitting there staring at a full energy bar and a full stamina bar, frustrated that you can't touch it without risking a crash, and then it fcuking crashes when you try to open the event window to see how long until the next attempt can be made.

My girlfriend has thrown my iPad a few times and it looks so bad physically that I doubt I would be lucky enough to get $20 if I tried to sell it. It's an iPad 2 not even a year old, 16GB, 3G and wifi (although I have no sim card for it).
